I've been fighting an inner war for at least ten years. Crippling anxiety that led to isolation. Isolation that led to depression. This year, I finally started to fight back. Embrace the fear and do things anyways. I've been pursuing relationships, fitness and going full force into my career. And that isolation is no more. And the depression is no more. Anxiety's still there, but screw it. It won't hold me back. This is "Hope." Love you all so much. You're never alone.
I've been there brother, from time to time, but I'm still holding on. Hang in there and enjoy your musical career. :P

Growing up in an abusive home without love or peace has made day to day life a struggle. After recently being diagnosed with Epilepsy due to head trauma from domestic violence, the depth of my depression and fear has reached its breaking point. Even though I don't know you or anyone in these comments, I feel less alone. My life has felt pointless. Just hearing the words "you will always be enough." made me ugly cry in my shower.. You have an amazing talent to reach to the heart of those hurting and give hope where it has disappeared. Thank you for sharing your music and your heart. It's so obvious you pour your soul into your music. You've given me the strength to fight for another day.

Gotta be my favourite worship song, it relate to my journey with God so well. People like to pretend being a Christian means you should be whole but there’s nothing further from the truth. God is what makes you whole, he’s the only one who can heal not just physical wound but the spiritual ones as well.

Thank you Nathan for this song, for your testimony. I've struggled with depression, (forced) isolation and panic attacks I thought I would never recover of. But Jesus proved Himself stronger than my utmost despair and is still involved in my healing process. In fact He is the only one who could and wanted to rescue me from all darkness ... including my (self)destruction! All everlasting hope is found in Him!

I know some may find this weird for some reason(I dont know)but this song reminds me of my twin. She is my light in the dark, helping me with my mental health, anxiety, fear. She is my rock that protects me and keeps me safe, I don't know how to describe what it's like having a twin, it's something you can't describe in my opinion, it's such an amazing journey and a privilege to have her by my side.
I just want to say thank you Nathan for making this song and I'm so happy that your fighting back, anxiety is truly a rough thing to have and at times it can be so over whelming, somedays it's easy to over come and others it will keep you under its thumb. It's amazing all the people's comments about feeling so touched by this song and your voice. It's as if you can tell us what sometimes we can't see or that we are not the only ones in this planet that feels this way. We are not alone, we always have someone. The problem is that we are just to afraid to open up because of what other people might think of us. It's hard, but we need to learn to be us and accept our good and bad things. We are not perfect, and no one is. People comes and goes, and they may like you or not. But sooner or later, you will find someone that will just stay, because he/she learned to love you like you are and what you are.

I don’t know if you’re religious or not, but every time you referred to “light” or “you” in either song I couldn’t help but think of Jesus Christ. I have always found music to be the one thing I can always escape too when time have been hard. Especially when I can feel my own mind turn on me with thoughts I know I shouldn't have. The 1st songs I heard from you was Lonely and Love and I have found that your songs help me alot when I desperately need it. I dont usually cry but those songs hit me because I have always felt like I can never be enough. Your not alone and you are loved too.

Sometimes your faith has it's trial like - smth breaks down and you can't let yourself do the same, otherwise you will fall completely. I am believer, but also a person thinking that you have to put effort into things to make them work. God is not a say-wish-and-it'll -happen machine. He wants us to fight for what's the most dearest in our life. That's how it works in my opinion. He can help, but gave us free will to decide, what we wanna do. There's real love in that ❤️
