The original bujo method is actually function over decor and would be good for people who are busy and don't have time to decorate or draw layouts. 😅
Oh wow, I didn’t know that. That is surprising to me because the bujo community is so artistic. But for me even creating layouts with pen and ruler still seems a little time consuming compared to pre-created layouts
@@planning_plain I followed the original method and I never had to spend over 5mins setting up every week.
5:40 It's not about monthly, weekly, or daily layout usage. It's now we perceive them 🤣. My month spread is the main spread because all my appointments are there. It's the 1st page that I go to! Also there are packages that I need to track and where I put the dates when they are coming, birthdays, holidays, pay dates, cycle tracking, goals for this month, and to do this month. I also recently moved all my tracking here because I discovered that traditional 1-31columns doesn't work for me. It's one of the most important spread in my planner! How don't you keep all of this information?! Where do you keep all of this information?!
Thanks for the comment! I use my monthly spreads as collections/lists, and have my yearly spreads for birthdays. I completely agree about the tracking - traditional trackers don’t work for me as well either, that is why I track in weekly spreads. I love how everybody can find a type of spread that works for them and utilise to their needs😊
I agree the layouts are more on how the user perceives them. They don't necessarily have to work the way they're supposed to, as long as it serves your purpose. 😊
