PJ, Thank you very much for the Master Class Session on how the mounts can be changed to my preference. After watching your video I finally made up my mind and purchased one. Has a right-hand shooter now... I can make the changes to the Saber Tactical Pro Universal Monopod. Mahalo Nut Loa!
I began using my Saber Tactical Pro Universal bench monopod and really like it a lot. Easy one handed, no thought operation and used in a local competition yesterday with good results. I’ll keep my squeeze bag for backup but it’s now my go to rear rest!
Also, some folks are just plain addicted to spending $ \ accessorizing \ modifying anything they get their hands on. Instead of buying a rifle and shooting it for a while, they get it with a Donny FL, bipod, barrel stabilizers, etc ad nauseam.
My benchrest rifle is close to that and it can be adjusted to hold it. The more you tighten the adjustment screws, the more resistance there is when you adjust. you can pretty much adjust it so it locks up, so the weight shouldn't be an issue.
I’ve tried that, and found that quite a few airguns resist being clamped. Not all of them, but I shot an Impact out of a bench vice once and the results were horrible. In some divisions of benchrest competition there are one piece mechanical rests, and some of the rifles don’t have what I’d call a buttstock.
You spend too much time with small talk you should have just demonstrated the device showing how it helps you be a better shooter. It was around 10 minutes before you did anything in this video. I

Outstanding 😮
Thanks!
I just got one and it`s the bees knees. My groups are way smaller now.
@@45035 agreed!
Could this be used on centre fire rifles with moderate recoil, such as. 308? 🇦🇺
I know at least one person who has without issue.
Where ya get that shirt???
@upnorthairgunner had them for sale a while back.
I am looking for something like this for my ELR rig that weighs 23 pounds. Will this work?

@@WiscAirGunners thank you. How do you make sure that the rifle slides perfectly when it recoils vs gripping the rest and making it rock?
Can this be used in air benchrest competitions?
Yes, that's what it was made for. Check the specific rules first, but there s no prohibition in the US major competitions.
There most be a knob to hold rifle weight and prevent it from dropping down
The resistance is adjustable by way of three grub screws…it does not have a lock-out feature.
@@WiscAirGunnersi saw your video but still if there was a knob to hold it in place and release to change adjustment that would be perfect
Why not just lock a rifle in a vice and make trigger pull the only possible variable input?

Isn't it?

@@brianusa394 I’ll take that under advisement.
