Dave! This video made my day. That is me at 0:54 crashing on my first attempt ever at a 360 over the whole box. I think about that moment often. Had never seen video footage of that... ever! Would never have dreamed this footage existed. I had promised myself I'd try the 360 during my first contest run, and literally 10 seconds before I hit the box, rain came in. I knew I was going to probably wash out on the wet metal lip, but I still went for it anyway. I still have the T-shirt from that contest (pics: imgur.com/a/Pg3cTNj and imgur.com/a/eT9Q3in ). They also gave me a free hat since they refused to score my run because the rain cut it short. 16-year old me thought a free Play hat was the coolest prize in the world. Pretty sure I still have that somewhere too.
Hi Matt! This is the best part of finally having time to put some of this out there. I truly appreciate it, thank YOU. And yes, those steel ramps were no fun without friction:) Cheers! -Mavro
@@MavroCam Haha, you're very welcome. I understand all too well the joy of sharing with people photos and videos of themselves. Keep the old stuff coming! I finished your 1992 Stone Edge video last night... that was from before I ever set foot there. But damn 18 year old Mirra killed it. I ride in San Jose CA now. Shot Ron Wilkerson there earlier this year! imgur.com/a/DI0v49r
