French Rhythm reading on oud with metronome is the easiest way to practise reading notes on oud with tempo.
the first whole note value is equal to four beats on oud and called taaaa , the second note value is half note which is equal to two beats and called taa , the third note we have is quarter note or noire note or called ta and equal to one beat on oud, the last note we have is two eighth notes called tate and have a value of quarter note.
The next step is play oud with metronome and practise playing the notes on oud.
