I was there! Quick observation, you guys improved so much compared to this time last year, seems like everything was cleaned up and polished since then! In my opinion you out performed EWU…. Good luck against Southern! Please give us more footage next game next game is a great time to shock the HBCU band World!
Very impressive FMU. I like the attention to details with the horn turns and flashes. Everyone was properly high step marching. Very good clean sound.

WOW! I'm IMPRESSED! The sound, the song selections, the video footage, the precision drilling, the flash features, the dancers, and the flags simply INCREDIBLE0! I'm happy for FMU marching band program, because I see the progress and all of the hard work paying off big time. This band definitely a force to reckon with. I'm glad you guys have a dedicated Media Team and UA-cam channel, because social media a good source for recruiting. Keep up the good work Director of Bands and Staff. I see the uniqueness within the program. FMU band surely added to my list of amazing HBCU marching bands out of the good state of Florida.

As South Floridain, I love this band. They left a giant footprint last year. I hope that they can keep that same energy this year. I heard many recycled songs and little to no South Florida vibe that made the band what it was. I hope they don’t get caught up trying to be like the other HBCU bands playing the same old songs repeatedly. The over all energy in this performance was not what I would've expected from FMU it was Ok but not the heat this band is use to bringing to the field.

Until the day I die, i will always respect an HBCU music program that doesn't allow "hornholders". Everybody plays in this band! I played in the Ocean of Soul of Texas Southern University, which is known to be smaller than most SWAC bands,but sound bigger and better because everbody plays.

From where I'm sitting and from what I just heard, this band is special, entertaining, and is only gonna get bigger because the students seem in tune with what the director is creating. I put respect on THE ROAR'S name.
