I would ask for Nanaya next but two Shikis in a row is a bit much. I’m happy to wait patiently just as I have for Nanaya in MBTL.

I will just comment on the point about re-act because i got very confused about it too. A lot of people (myself included) installed it via the mirror moon english translation, but it automatically applies the final tuned patch. It do this for good reasons, as the patch correct many bugs. But then we saw videos like what akiha did at 8:50 of your video or the Tohno "teleport that looks like a glitch" and got super confused.
As you said, those are re-act vanilla things. Needs to have a unpatched installation to test.
In this case, this was the grandfather of MBAA full moon's shield counters. After a successful shield, you input 236 D and different things happens depending on if you were standing, crouched or in the air. Ultimately it is char specific, but some things are more common/standard and akiha/tohno incarnate it.
A standing shield counter does something with high dmg.
A crouched shield counter often looks like tohno "teleport that looks like a glitch", side switching.
A airborn version generally looks like a j C but with different proprieties: it ground bounce, opening a chance for a combo punish.
Another big difference is that on MB react vanilla you can cancel grounded normals unto backdash or super jumps on block. This was very good for Tohno, as from almost full screen he could use his fast dash >5c and either disengage safely with a backdash or take the offensive by canceling unto superjump>airdash. It works very well, as this game let you do airdashes very very low.
Can't wait for the Sion episode in 5 years when Eltnum from Under Night is added to Type Lumina in her place.

Eu Scrawt, creo que dash/bunker dentro de dash cancel es una mecanica que agregaron en algun momento en re-act, tengo la "capture guide book" para re-act 2.004 y todos los personajes tienen uno con 236D, no se leer japones asi que no estoy seguro si es desde blockstun o shield que se hace. Es mas, la guía también menciona shield counter como si fuera Full moon.

In 2002 Melty, 3b can be cancelled into 1b, a slow, charged and armored version of the 5bb launcher. I'm guessing you're supposed to use it on stunned opponents to keep dealing damage.
