    When testing dental adhesives, you should not test single bottle adhesives against two bottle adhesives, as the two bottle adhesives have much higher bond strengths. Why also test an etch and bond adhesive against an universal bond. What a useless comparison.

      I agree that the comparison was poor. However, Single Bond Universal is not a one bottle self-etch adhesive, as it can also be used in total etch technique.
      You're right when you state that two bottle self-etch adhesives show higher bond stengths when compared to single bottle self-etch adhesives. But, as I said, that's not the case of SB Universal.
      As a matter of fact, SB universal can achieve bond strengths as high as Clearfil SE Bond, for example, mainly when used in self-etch mode.

    Usually the oxygen inhibited layer is 40 micron so if the film is so thin that does not prevent the complete polymerisation
