"I have a life, too." Hey Ron, that's great to hear. It's a benefit of civilazation, that we can sometimes enjoy holidays like Easter with our families. Let's enjoy it!
Thanks for inviting us along on your time off Ron. This was fun. :)
Most unusual catch ever. A fishing pole. I was laughing too Ron.
I was laughing as well
at least you caught something
I wonder if that could go in the Guinness Book of Records? A fishing magazine's column or article for weirdest catches? Reader's Digest? You even have a video or photo of it. Too good not to share everywhere! 👍👏🤣🤣
same here
@@genkatqltr737 i catch poles all the time, i also catch throw nets, bobbers and crank baits. so far in the past 3 years, i've caught 16 poles, 12 throw nets, about $1200 worth of crank baits, and filled a 55 gallon drum full of bobbers and floats of all sizes and types.
Ron it’s nice to see having family time together. God Bless as alway be safe too 🙏🙏
Thank you Ron for that
relaxing video.It reminded
me of when I was a boy Scout. We went to a lake
that was on private land,
it was only 5 mi. from
town but seemed like 100
mi. We went swimming
used a row boat, fished,
frog gigging. cooked over
a fire, sat out in the open
looked @the stars,listened to the frogs,crickets & other
night sounds. Thank you
Ron for taking me back to
one of the best times of my youth.🏊🎣🔆
Ron, Exactly relax and enjoy. Life is to short. Thank you Ron for making my 70th Birthday and 39th Wedding Anniversary one I won’t forget.. I used to go fishing with my dear departed wife Amie(who passed away on 1/1/2001) every chance we got. Catfish and trout were good eating and easy to catch from the shore. Do you know what a boat is? It’s a hole in the water to throw money into. Thank you again Ron for making this day so special for me, June 27, 2020.May God continue to Bless you and your entire family.
Watching this whilst sitting outdoors camping, it's nice to take a break now and then. God Bless sir and stay safe!!
Ron, your wireless tow lights are 12 volt, You could mount the camera on them and tap into the power that way
Amen family time is what is most important. I remember camping out with my aunt, uncle, and cousins and half the time it rained but we hat a great time under the tarps, singing, playing games, and kibitzing. Great times. Happy Motoring.
Brother Pratt: I have been an active member of that great Fraternity since 1962. Have fun with the family. Enjoy you have earned it. Gad bless
Just watched this again Ron... Can't believe how much Ethan has matured and grown since then...! It was Nice to see the day you guys were enjoying... beautiful location...!
Ron that's funny that he caught a fishing rod maybe when he gets his wreck masters he will catch a 80,000 LBS semifish or a 4,000 LBS carfish
Hey Ron. It’s nice to see the man behind the master tow truck operator.
I use the word man literally. A man will take the time to do things with their family ( in this case Ethen ). Plus the stress break from work doesn’t hurt.
Still loving your videos. Stay safe, and god bless..
God Bless the entire Pratt Family!
Cool air, family, friends and the sound of crickets and bullfrogs. That's why I love the country. The beauty out my backdoor didn't happen by accident. People in the concrete jungle lose touch of God's country.
Thank you for sharing your family time with us. The lake is absolutely beautiful. It's always good to have family time to make memories. God bless you and your family in everything you do. 🙏
Ron now that's funny 😂🤣 first time I ever saw anyone fishing catch a fishing pole tell Ethan great job at least he caught something 😁
Some have asked how they can purchase the connectors from Talon without going through Facebook. You can e-mail him at taloncasebolt@outlook.com
Also, several people have suggested or asked why I didn't connect the camera power into the backup (reverse) light wiring. The answer is quite simple, I want to be able to use and power up the camera at times other than only when I am backing up. For instance, I want to see traffic behind me so I can safely change lanes. By supplying power from the marker lights, the way that I did, I am able to control when I power up the camera, which is exactly what I wanted to do. Thank you for the suggestions. If I were only using this as a backup (reverse) camera then those suggestions would work just fine. Thanks for watching and God bless.
When do u think you will do a live stream video
Makes sense I never thought of that I was just thinking of it being a back up camera
It's great to see the Pratt family outside of work. Great video Ron. I look forward to each video! God Bless!!
Didn’t even get a notification for this video! Pleasantly surprised! It’s always great to relax and unwind!
Jeff Wilbanks I did not get one either
I never do, was not ever reliable, neither is FB notifications more reliable.
Ethan made me giggle with his "catch of the day". lol Best catch yet. Glad you got the Haloview rearview camera kit. It may be a bit to install, but it does have a wonderful resolution. I like places where you are close to work, yet far enough away to forget about it. The scenery is beautiful, and helps forget work for a little bit. You need to rest and relax, with a tea, water, or even a bit of soda (pop). Whatever floats your boat. lol
Great to see your hard working self taking some time off. Hard work ethic is embedded in us but our success is also defined by the time we take for ourselves. We cant be robots all the time. Cheers.
So glad to see you relax and enjoying your down time!
A happy Easter Ron to you and your family.
Love the idea of portability. You can remove everything from sight when you leave the camper alone or outside unit when you're asleep, hide everything inside, prevent theft. Excellent idea Mrs. Pratt! 👍
Glad you all had a great time. Well deserved! And Ethan's got a terrific fishing tale! 🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟
Free fishing pole! Win! When the kids were first rigging up their fishing poles, I was half expecting you to tell them to double up the lines and add a snatch block...lol.
Ron: I believe the key word for this video is 'RELAX', which it was when watching the segment where you had finished the backup camera installation and took some time to sit down by the water front to "RELAX". Good for you and the family. I must say it was very entertaining weeing Ethan catch the fishing pole. Great catch, and well done Ethan! Also, neat way to share and promote Talon's new side business and product available. As you always end, 'Thanks for watching and God Bless'! ~Ed~ P. S. a belated Happy Easter to you and the entire family...
Really Great Video Ron! Nothing better than relaxing at the lake with family! Also fun to catch some fish while your there! God Bless
I have caught trees, sticks, rock and a few fish but I have never caught a fishing pole "fish". LOL.
great video Ron liked it alot glade to see you get time with your son and family. God bless
Mr. Pratt, Greetings again from Cardington, OH!!! You truly are a Blessing to each of us who know anything about you ....You're a hard-working, Godly husband, dad and community-minded individual. I don't personally know you, but you're obviously a man who is much-loved and respected by all. Your videos are an inspiration to us all. May God continue to richly Bless you in all that you do. Thank you again for continuing to share these many videos, both work-related as well as your personal time with your obviously much-loved family and friends! Plz stay safe and well.
Absolutely delightful! That fishing pole Ethan caught was a keeper! *hahaha* Love your new toy Ron. Burst out laughing when you tossed this extra wires for more cameras. Then later you thot of more cameras. Hope you saved those wires. 😄 Keep on rollin'! Love your videos. .I pray for your safety.God Bless
Ron I'm glad to see you enjoying a little away time from working...was wondering if you had a life...enjoy the away time as much as possible..... I love the way your narrative each video and glad to see that you wsas having fun laughing at Ethan...great catch of the day Ehan....God Bless All.
Good for you Ron. Relax with the family. God bless
It's great to see you enjoy some time off with your family happy Easter to you all the way from England
My favorite fishing memory is in AK in late 79. We caught our limit of silver salmon in 20 minutes. We then caught and released 57 salmon in the next 5 hours. AK fishing at its best!
Really great to get out and have fun. Always do it. 👍🏻
I hooked up my camera to the reverse lights on the camper! Works great!
Makes sense, as it is a reversing Camera after all.
That's what I thought he he was going to do
Another day with Ron videos beautifull !
Was the fishing pole long enough or did he fave to throw it back?
Connor K my thoughts exactly!
THAT CAMERA SYSTEM WORKS REALLY GOOD 👍👍👍👍
That's a nice camera system...
I have watched lots of farming channels that use that same camera system on farm tractors, farm trucks etc...It works really great...
That's a nice lake back there...
I personally have never been but have a few friends that really like that lake...
And Yes....Watching more "Daily Life" type videos would be really nice...
Thanx for sharing...
Andy....Jackson...
That was awesome when he caught the fishing pole. Glad you caught that on camera. You and your son will never forget that moment. Be well!
that was a great video Ron
Get a waterproof box and make yourself a lemur light type pack for your backup camera and you would be able to hook it to any vehicle. Just need a Battery, on/off switch and bolt the camera to the top of the box and your sorted.
Mr. Pratt:
i am always learning something new from you and your family. Thank you for informing us all on how to move large loads and cover vehicles using the elementary principles of physics. Keep making the videos and be safe out there on the road.
Family! This is what memory's are made of! 20 years from now all will look back an lol at the Pole "fish" kids grow so dang fast an before you know it they are in their own. But I have never regretted the time to just be a family even tho I really could not spair the time. I made time! My kids have memories that no amount of money could ever buy. An momma an I needed the time from our non stop lives. Even if was one night an a day was worth every second. An as to the rear cam? I had absolutely no doubt you would make it work ;) an I can see application on the back of the wrecker under certain circumstances. Thanks for sharing a private look of your busy life . An now?? Comes the time I always hated ... hauling everything back in the house an cleaning the rig for the next time lol!! But many hands make light an fast work ;-) was 4 of us we each had a job to do an it " mostly" went smoothly. ..
Maybe you can figure something out on mounting a camera in the yellow light bar you use when towing a trailer if the battery (or power) on that is enough to power the camera as well.
It might be a little bit of a vibrating picture as you use rubber bands to connect the light bar, but it worth to try.
the mounting place would affect the signal, I assume that some of the signal be blocked due to too low mounting place. The antenna extender could help on that. The wired model will not occur that kind of issue but takes much more time to mount.
Thanks for being a tester. Those backup camera/monitor system is ideal if you are carry a trailer or like someone who has a van.
It looks like the kids had fun and they caught some fish too. Nice camera install looks like good system.
I have heard fishing for fish but I never heard of fishing for a fishing pole That's a new one on me I like the video Ron I enjoyed it big time
Good to see you guys outside the tow trucks and garage. Glad you got away for a couple days. Thanks for all the great videos. Keep up the good work! Stay safe Ron! God Bless!
Beautiful view of the lake. God bless!
Thanks for letting us share your family time brother Ron
chicken livers laid out in the sun for a day, great catfish bait.
Wow I'm JEALOUS that's not fair. Just kidding y'all are really Bless that's a beautiful place. Lol how much did the fishing rod weight. LOL!!!! That's God telling y'all needs more poles. LOL!!! It is always great to hang out with family doing fun stuff like catching fishing rods and fish Lol!!! God Bless y'all and be careful. It's always fun watching y'all and learning about tow trucks etc.
True 3-D camera system, saw the fish jumping off the screen while driving on the highway!!! LOL
Nice mini-vacation. Next time maybe show us some campfire & fish fryin. ummmm smell the catfish cookin. Thanks for sharing.
It's a nice day... for fishing for poles! LOL
well Sir that was a good insight to your private time with your family. It's good to see you away from your fulltime job and having quality downtime .Be safe and god bless
What a great view of the drive.
Ya Ron that Was Awesome good to See You Taking Some R&R . how Small of A Camera Do they Have Am Thinking This would be great for the Trucking Industry for Blind Spot's Mount Them where the Blind spot mirrors are Not To replace Them but to enhance them
5'' you can check on www.haloview.com/haloview-mc5111-5-720p-hd-digital-wireless-rear-view-camera-system.html
Ron, thank you for sharing family time video with us.
Ron, Thank you for sharing your personal time with your family. Also, thanks for showing to remote camera system, I would make a prediction that we will see your work trucks fitted with them in the coming year.
Thanks and God bless.
Truly deserved, Ron! Enjoy!
Family is the most important thing Ron and the life videos are great because it's different everytime. Bless you mate
Ron loved the camping video hopefully you will do more videos like that. Keep it coming.
I like your wife's idea of the sandbag mount. I am thinking of 4 cameras: trailer rear view, left and right front side trailer (to help when turning when backing up, and a cam to help in hitching up solo.
Thank you Ron for including us in your family time away from work, looked a very nice place to have alittle down time an to charge up your batteries, as with using the wireless camera on yours recoverys when towing vehicles could you not power up the camera from your trailer board via a simple plug an then use the magnetic mount to secure the camera to the trailer! Great work as always Ron and God bless you an ur family! #SlowDownMoveOver.
I thought those cameras were really nice until I seen the price! WOW! they don't give them away!!
It's good to see you doing some family time and enjoying what God has created for us all.
Ron that’s the first time I ever saw anybody catch a fishing pole. Hilarious. Good video. Thanks
the control you have over the rotator you probably could use it as a fishing rod .. oh & first
yea, he could, but the worm would have to be huge to fit on those hooks! :)
I'd hate to see the worm that would fit on one of those hooks. The worm would eat the fish.
He already has fished out three cars from the water so far, just look for the titles mentioning fishing.
Love your videos Ron just about watched them all Florence kentucky here.
Camping and fishing I hope you enjoyed and relaxed and do what you got to do
So nice to see your family enjoying the nice weather,,,God Bless your family,,,,love you guys,,beautiful country ,always enjoy!
The 4 cameras would be cool. You could take your monitor in your camper and have security through the night. They may sell a signal booster for that.
Ron thank you for sharing with us GOD bless everyone
Fix a plug on your truck for the camera. Be useful when backing up to the trailer to hook it up.
That is so funny. Catching a fishing pole...LOL
Ron, nice installation, b-u-t with a male and a female hanging out of the light housing, you better hope no one ever thinks something is disconnected and does you a "favor" by plugging them back together for you! I think you would have a better and safer connection using a Battery Tender type plug as long as you always wire the "hot" side of the camper plug to the female side of the plug so it can not touch metal when tucked away. Good to see you getting out and relaxing!
It's great to see Ron and his family taking some R+R. It's been a t honor to watch his videos. God bless Ron!!
Nice, enjoyed that. Something different!
It was good to see you doing something other than working
Always good to see someone who works as hard as you do have some fun and family time, also nice to see Ethan, it’s been a while. Nice install of the camera system, can see where it would come in handy like you stated...God Bless! Stay Safe!
Nothing like family time! :) Great video!
Looks peaceful enjoy your vacation I hope you had a great Easter
Nice video Ron. Thank you for sharing it with us. I like your Idea of the camera on the rotatior.
Camping and Early Grey. I knew I liked Ron. Enjoy!
Good job on the camera. Wish I was there.
AWESOME I'm glad you got to go camping. We love going camping to when we get the chance. You keep talking about your wife, but we didn't see her at ALL. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
I always thought you should have a camera in your turn signal bar you hang on the back of tow vehicles lol. You could have the same type of disconnect plugs on your wired model. I know the cameras I put in my house have one Ethernet wire, it carries the signal and the power.
Great to see you guys having fun, been watching for a while now, great videos always. Happy Easter from sunny Scotland
Ron, you're after my heart. There is NOTHING any better than to take time for one self and family and sit back and let time flow by like a gentle stream. What a beautiful place that is. absolutely perfect place.
I hope you and your family enjoyed family time and the Easter weekend. Remember If it wasn't for our Savior Jesus who rose from the dead, we would have nothing. My it is wonderful to be able to slow down and enjoy God's creation.
May you have a wonderful time and when you are back at your shop and do what you do and I want to say the best that you do, please keep it safe nor only for yourself but your staff, those that you help along the way and family. God and family always comes first then everything else falls right behind and follow all the way through.
God bless Ron. I can't get over the beauty there and also I can't help to laugh when that fishing pole was reeled in. A super great video Ron. Enjoy life to the fullest my friend. And again
God bless.
Michael from NW North Carolina
Great vid Ron...Thanks for sharing
Great content Ron love the wireless unit had a similar system on my flatbeds had one hi on the sleeper to overlook the entire trailer one on the rear of the trailer and one on each of the side steps at the bottom to see down both sides it was a invaluable tool for safety, backing and security. Ethan recovered nicely on the fishing nothing like camping for get away time to decompress. Truck safe my friend.
Good for you! Relaxing is good for y’all
hi Ron love your videos :) i am a Auto Electrification in Ireland and i am not sure about USA but we would normally wire the reverse camera into the Reverse/Back up Lamp so when you select reveres gear the camera comes on automatically
Ron enjoyed the video!
If I may suggest; for camera use while towing behind the Recovery Vehicles, tap the camera into the Lightbar if the battery on it is powerful enough. Also consider using a two-prong flat (similar to four-prong boat trailer) style connection for better weatherproofing for when the camera isn't plugged in on whatever you have wired for it.
Thank You for sharing your life with us!
He plans on moving the camera from vehicle to vehicle as needed, hence the not hard wired option.
You need to update those taillights on your RV to led. God bless
PS: LOVE the sound of the Cummins as the trans shifts!!!! Lol
