Very interesting xarkun, thanks for posting. I really like how you focus on the process and not the outcome. I'm just a noob, working on the Japanese Cruiser line. Played my first matches at level 4 with the Furutaka last week. Oh and I hate Aircraft Carriers. :)
A lot of my most dramatic games are losses. It's simply a matter of having more opportunities to score all of those flags. You know, because the blue team sank in the first five minutes and the red team is only slightly less stupid and still have difficulties overwhelming those last few holdouts. It can be a bit frustrating, but it is what it is. I'm usually not displeased with my performance, but you have to wonder what the rest of your team gets out of these sorts of debacles.
It really is unfortunate when you do everything right, but your team lets you down. Goes to show how much of a one-sided game this would’ve been if you hadn’t have played as well as you did. You almost turned around a 5-0 loss. But 5-4 is still a loss but one you can be proud of.
I say they are pretty even. Both have very good guns but Sumner is more maneuverable so it is better suited in close up knife fights while Kitakaze is better suited in longer ranged engagements.
They're both pretty good. I'll take the Kitakaze though. Sumner is great and all, but I think it's just sort of a vanilla type playstyle. Kitakaze as more spice, more interesting things going on in my opinion. Both are great though.
I love how you take credit for your team, sacrificing themselves to win the game. All you did was hide and leave them to die because you don’t do your job.
Your team contributed quite a bit. You did not. You must do your job or you will lose every time for somebody at your age. You should know that but I’m pretty sure you bought your way there. You didn’t earn it you Paid for it like all losers
Jesus, what are you talking about? He talks about what his team did. If you watch the match, his team also abandoned the middle first thing, which is a large part of the problem here. The reds took B cap and held it all game because no one on the blue team contested it. That’s how they built such a big points lead. Xarkun has been playing a long time, my guy, he knows what he’s doing.

I find it amusing that you expect better potatoes at higher tier battles. I avoid high tier battles at all times d except for Steel rewards. It's the worst tier to have fun on.
I don’t know that I expect anything anymore. I just sort of hope for a baseline level of competence. Sometimes you get it, sometimes the hopes get dashed.
GG Xarkun. Do you run evil sparks on your commander? I have Kurita at 16/3 and can't decide if evil Sparks is worth it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
No. I tried it a long time ago. The extra pen sounds like a good thing, but that skill nerfs the HE shell damage by a gigantic percentage. I want to say it's 50% or more. Akizuki and Kitakaze both already have very low HE shell damage. Something like 1500. Could be wrong, but I think it's in that ballpark. If you use Evil Sparks, that number becomes less than 1000. I think somewhere in the 700 range. It's pretty bad.

What you could’ve did was do your job you would’ve won. I guarantee it but everybody at bravo could do nothing but run from the destroyers because I can’t see them because you weren’t there to get out there and spot for them.
If you know what you were doing, you would stop shooting your gun On the DD all it does is make you visible to that battleship your job Two spot cap and a hunt down and kill DD’s. That’s it when that’s all done then you can go run around and try to kill battleships, but that is not your primary purpose.

This game caters to a huge number of people who die in the first 3-5 minutes of the game.

Recently i had 210,000 damage Somers kraken in a loss. Only so much one player can do in a 9 player game i guess.
