As someone who has the complete series on DVD of the original Fugitive, the 93 movie is still a great classic. The same with Sunset Boulevard.

30 years ago, but as engaging today as it was back then...
The entire movie has a great "feel there" vibe throughout, that really connects you to the places Richard traverses to escape his pursuers and find the answers he needs.
The locations that were picked help to elevate the movie to "annual compulsory" tier for me, along with some of Harrison's Tom Clancy stuff from the 90s.
Great stuff! Best of luck with the channel fellas!

Thank you! The Fugitive is still one of my favorite movies. U.S. Marshalls, also good!

The railroad line was allowed to remove all working parts off the locomotives. For GSMR locomotives now.

Is there a little path down there right in front of that Dillsboro city limits sign? Trying to figure out the best way down there, and based on google earth that seems like the spot

The way down is steep in some spots once you make in over the metal guard rail near the sign. Just work your way down and diagonally left and be mindful of the drop-off near the bottom.

I read somewhere that the tunnel was a prop built on a tractor trailer backed onto the dam..??

There was no evidence of a tunnel ever being connected to the top of the dam.

How do you get in there? Do you have to ask first and is their a fence?

From the paved road at the Dillsboro sign, we walked the road far enough down to find a safe opening with a mild incline to work our way down. I did not see any signs saying to stay out. Once we made our way down to the tracks we just walked the side from there. Be safe about it if you choose to go, that train track is still in use. No fence if you walk the side of the track down.
