I remember spending countless hours in this game. It's beautiful. I use Sephiroth in Smash now and noticed right away that his kit in Smash came from Dissidia.
It probably stemmed some inspiration from it yeah. But he always has similair moves even in Remake he had a lot of his iconic moves that you see him use pretty much any other time. Oh yeah and same here xD I am a Seph main as well in Smash now :') Played Dissidia 012 for roughly 10 years but I haven't REALLY played it in well over a year now so I think I might be truly done. A guy named FreZz still uploads his matches every now and then, I actually have a ton of unuploaded non Seph matches still laying around xD But you could check him out if you like. Alternatively there is a few more uploads here. Cheers mate.

I mean u just don't see this lv of versatility and skill in a 3d fighter/rpg games anymore period.. companies would rather try to revive old ips then branch out and give ppl new fun experiences.. but hey I'm optimistic and I have no doubt someone will get inspired

Quick question. Is it possible to do two player player battles in the same room with someone offline if they have a copy of this game as well? Kind of like if you have two Nintendo DS in the same room if that makes sense. I'm only asking because I have an actual PSP and my friend and cousins are interested in playing this game if they could find one cheap...oddly enough Dissidia Duodecim is fairly cheap on eBay and Amazon
Yes just turn on the adhoc button on your psp and go into the same lobby and the psp should be able to pick up the connection. You should essentially be sitting right next to one another tho so keep that in mind. Make sure you both have the same region copy. IE, US copy is only compatible with US copy same for other regions. Still pissed about the Gilgamesh Ashur costume being only available at that tournament in Japan
It's main role is stacking effects on top of one another to make certain things more/very effective. But in terms of how most stuff actually works... Or rather the most optimal use of accesories is a mystery to me as well.
Man, a mod for this game to bring in new mechanics like air time gauge in NT to make it a lil less air game and dash cancels would be amazing and shake up the meta. This game did so many things right. It just needs big community love again and I am sure this game could take off again.
hmm not sure if I would like the NT air gauge for 012 xD It would certainly balance the game out a bit... Given ground characters get entirely reworked as well. But at that point they would have to redo the entire games balance. And I think part of Dissidia's charm is the lack of balance. Perhaps they could find a middle ground but that would require an insane amount of work.

If it is still around, DISSIDIA. But I am sad to say that even they became toxic after a while. But it is probably still the best place to get games if you are interested.

The game is not cross platform compatible and there is no active community that plays on mobile. If you got a PC you could find plenty of people still play. the 'DISSIDIA' discord is where you can find everything you need.

012 should just get a remake or something, I know NT was an arcade party game which is why it sucks in comparison but this style of gameplay needs to come back, 012 recently became my go-to game when I want to have fun, there's lots of knowledge and skill involved, it's a really good time. Just upgrade the graphics, bring in new characters and balance the equipment/accessory system, maybe also give the characters new moves but it's not necessary beyond the new characters. I still think some crazy accessories should remain though because it keeps the fights fresh, the sorts of accessories with which you trade HP for def or brv or something like that, I'm cool with those.

Sadly Never gonna happen, They F*cked up with Dissidia NT so is pratically Impossible for us to see a Sequel one day because of that game's Flop.

Online is not cross platform compatible.
It could also be a firewall or antivirus blocking the signal.
Can I play multiplayer with 8 players?
It's possible but Group Battles is a bit wonky.
More often then not it will break even with just 5 players.

We use 100% saves to play pvp that way its an even playing field.
