NEON lamps T5 or T8 PL: can be a viable alternative to metal halide because consume slightly less even if their energy efficiency is not optimal, they also raise the temperature of water, and must be combined to have certain light spectrums , they have a very low price to buy, but unfortunately have to be changed 1 time every 6 months.
LED lights: they represent a large initial investment (we even get up to 2000 euro) but they have an excellent luminous efficiency, as electricity consumption will be very low and will not increase the temperature of water. The Ledcan exalt fluorescent colors of coral and are generally already combined for all possible spectra and kelvin degrees, often have control units that reproduce sunrise, sunset and moon phases, and once acquired, if of good quality, you dont need to change. The 'efficiency and durability depend on the cooling of the LED, more it will be cooled and life will be longer.

io sono passato da poco alle plafoniere a LED su acquario dolce, la resa è incredibile e per ammortizzare i costi me la sono costruita da solo, con circa 80 euro... ho riprodotto tutto lo spettro che mi serviva in vasca senza problemi, le consiglio vivamente a tutti!

Salve io ho una plofoniera con 2 lampade HQI 4 neon blu e 8 led blu per la fase lunare volendo sostituire le HQI esistono lampade led con lo stesso attacco delle su dette ed adeguata temperature kelvin la mia vasca è 150x50x50 ed ho vari tipi di coralli e pesci desidero evitare di buttare la plofoniera anche visto quanto mi è costata neache un anno fa so che per i 4 neon blu potro cambiarli con i tubi a led e desidero sapere anche se i tubi a led che mettero saranno con led multicolor o monocromatici , diciamo che non mi fido piu' del rivenditore che mi ha venduto la plofoniera grazie per la risposta

Ho una domanda, Discus e Scalari possono vivere assieme in un acquario (coi giusti litri) senza che si attaccano o robe simili!

buonasera. Ho un problema nel mio acquario d'acqua dolce. È da ieri sera che vedo dei piccolissimi insetti color verdastro che stanno fuori dall'acqua su vetro. Non li ho mai visti prima. Stanno sopratutto vicino ala nursery con le uova di una chiocciola. Sapete dirmi (sempre che abbiate capito cosa sono) se sono nocivi per l'acquario, se crescono e se quando sono più grandi entrano pure in acqua? grazie per l'aiuto.
