I've been looking into some of these meal delivery services at least for lunches because of the convenience, so these reviews are super helpful! The food looks really yummy, and I'm happy there's a good variety. It's good to know some of the meals can be stretched out with leftovers, but you're right - the lettuce cups don't look like they were enough!
Glad you found this video helpful! left overs are the best! Other than the lettuce cups, the portion on everything else was overall really good!

We have never used an order meal plan before. I do agree that a plan like this would save you from having wasted food since they only send what you need to make for each plate. All the food looked delicious.

omg that pasta looks so freaking good! mouth watering ! all these meals looked so yummy and healthy too. i love that they give you recipes with pictures and everything that makes it so easy to follow instructions and know what it should look like ! this seriously has me debating to order from them !!

Home Chef is next on my list to try!! Those tropical sesame chicken wraps sound right up my alley but so sad that the portions were too small. Those sound like they would be great for a lunch because they're so light and quick to make. I LOVE jalapeno poppers so the chicken jalapeno popper flautas has me drooling rn. Love that there were enough for leftovers! I always end up finishing food off in the air fryer to get the crispiness that I'm looking for! $55 a week is a great price!

You always do the best and most thorough reviews! Bummer about the first meal it looked really good but the portion def was too small… I would consider that a snack! Love some pasta dishes so that one looked good and the flautas made my mouth water! Thanks for always being so honest!

Ooooh I've never heard of Home Chef, I wonder if they have one in Australia! I wish they had the nutritional stuff listed on the actual recipe cards, but its good you can look online! The lettuce cups look so cute 😍 my mouth is legit watering over the rigatoni, that looked amazing!

We’ve had similar systems over here in the Uk. We didn’t feel that we had enough food like you say for 2 people so had to add extra veg etc to pack it out
I also like to pick out meals that are higher in calories to get that extra bang for your buck! I find that I'm usually able to meal prep some of the leftovers
Home Chef has zero customer service. I like the meals but have contacted them several times with problems and they never reply.
i love your nails! these recipes look and sound delicious. love that it came with a plant based energy tea! ♡ the first recipe looks really aesthetic & healthy. the mushroom rigatoni looks amazing! i love a good pasta dish. the chicken jalepeno flautas look SOOO good. it is nice 2 try out new recipes and the meal kits help with saving time. yeah the first recipe looked more like an appetizer! love that you had leftovers as well! ♡ yeah it would be nice if they included the nutritional value!

I’ve never heard of home chef before but these meals looked good! I would love to see nutrition facts on the card too! I would need more servings for leftovers. But everything still looked so good!
Yes, it was a bit annoying having to look up the nutrition facts online but other than that taste overall was still really good!

I think the pasta was my fav!! I'd def try to make that on my own again!
I did HelloFresh for about 1.5 years straight everyday. I learned a lot about cooking too. Sauces really are important to the final taste.
Is it Possible to get item’s without the subscription I don’t want to cook every other day just sometimes
When you sign up, you can "skip" multiple weeks, which I think would be helpful in your situation!

I tried Home Chef quite awhile ago, but only did a few boxes. This is making me think I should restart!!
Considering home chef. Hello Fresh has messed up more than a few times this year. The final straw for me is when they changed our meal delivery time up two days with an 8 hour window for us to call in and change it again.
Sorry to hear - yes, I was on hello fresh for awhile too but switched over to home chef after having too many boxes received with spoiled ingredients.

Does it give you the calories before you order the meal?
Yes, you can! And yes it does have the nutritional information on all their meals so you can choose everything up to 5 weeks ahead.
What caught my eye was how much plastic they use! Is this typical, and are there other services that rely on more sustainable materials?
yeah i don’t think it would be enough for kevin either hahah that pasta looked delicious too! all those 710 calories is a lot but i think it’ll be okay! it looks so good it looks amazing! it is more sustainable! awww omg i usually eat lighter during lunch too. i love mushrooms but i don’t think kevin would not wanna eat that i would!! it sounds really good! awww i love that you both felt full it looked like a lot of work haha we love having an air fryer hahaha i need to try this once!
The pasta was SO good...we ended up having left overs so it worked out perfectly! YES, air fryers are a must!

In my family there are 2 people that eat like a chipmunk size meal, and me who eats like a lion size meal. so 4 serving is just right for us.
