Hey @Xaryu, I'm not sure if I misunderstood when you explained Rune of Power & Arcane Surge. It sounded like you meant you cast RoP, then cast Arcane Surge and sometimes you don't benefit if you can't get the cast off during RoP - just so you know, Arcane Surge plants a Rune of Power at your feet like AP used to do and Combustion does so you only need to cast Surge to get the RoP benefit. Maybe I misunderstood, but it sounded like you were saying you cast Surge during your RoP, but infact Surge casts RoP for you :)

this really helped me, I can play frost and fire but always struggled with arcane. Had to slow the opener down to 0.5x lol sounds like you're wasted haha I was wondering why you only let missiles tick once but you explained the opener perfectly

Can anyone tell me why people take slow (I’m a noob mage). Frost appears to have a lot of passive slows and arcane uses chrono to kite. When would you cast a slow? What is the benefit of taking it rather than a different talent and gaining a key bind ?

mass invis is not actually a bug you know ;) in tooltip it says "dealing damage will cancel this effect" since you arent dealing any dmg with ring of frost etc you stay invis

Hi mate didnt get one think why you on that opener cancel that MIssiles? there is no spark on start so no reason stop that missiles isnt better that missiles just let cast normal or is just for prevent to kick you on start?
So what's the big deal about ring of frost in the open? lets say i'm playing rogue mage vs priest + ret. Rogue saps the Pri and we open ret. I ring of frost around the priest. Priest stands still cos he's sapped and when sap breaks he stands still and heals. Why ring of frost? In rogue mage ur rogue can resap anyway, so even if the Pri does walk into ring of frost its not game breaking cos the rogue coulda sapped again anyway? I understand ring of frost mid game when you're trying to get a reset or w/e but I don't understand why you would ring of frost in the open wasting time casting it when you could be pumping the Ret.. thoughts?
still handy to have if you're kiting 2 melee and got them both at range, chrono shift 1 for speed buff, slow on the other. Or to keep a rogue in combat out of a frost nova, it'll have its uses here and there

Are y sure to not use rune of power mate? Its pretty good damage buff and it appear when casting arcane surge , Incanters flow is more commonly used by frost/fire mage tbf

Why play slow? instead of the Icefloes/shimmer+ice nova etc. basically why ALWAYS go slow if you kite with barrage?

Make a guide on what we should spell steal from EVERY class. It will get a lot of views since there are no other videos covering that.

Current fire mage state is really good for making a short guide. Basically all you have to do is press N and chose one of the other 2 specs.

Can get a few more then 1 tick of arcane missiles before u cancel, if u cancel too fast u are stuck in global cd before arcane blasting :)

you can make a /stopcasting macro
if we dont need slow, and chrono is always used... why even put the talent point in slow?
