@@MidwestFlesh i was a huge nascar fan from age 13 to about 10 years ago. the new rules ruined it for me. stopped watching. now we just go to the local dirt tracks still though. its fun. so this was really cool.

I never heard of it. Seen it as we were headed to another location to film. Very cool place & we plan on going back this year to really check it out. Thank you for the comments & info!!!!
Just a couple minutes south of me. Started out as horse racing then into cars in later years. Now during the warmer months they use it as part of the canoe trips down sugar creek.
Thanks for sharing the history of it. Looks pretty neat. Sad to know people lost lives there. Great little video. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Thank u Carrie.not much to see there but it was cool. I had no idea about until we passed it by. Had to check it out on the way back! We are great hope you doing well!
I've kayak'd up to that exact spot, they rent all that there. Monty was our long time bus driver, super cool guy. He'd always give us crap for all the beer we brought lol. Monty if you're out out there say hi! Lol
I grew up just north of it. I remember hearing about it but we never went. I would have been little when it closed. I vaguely remember hearing about the girl being killed and it closed.
That first building you were in in the beginning was the jungle park flea market Incidentally the Jungle park speedway was a big racing meca back in the 30s and 40s
Do a search on Jungle Park Speedway on the site speedway androadracehistory.com Some really cool pictures of the races. My husband’s cousin was Wilbur Shaw, although he never saw him race there.
Music was on pointe brother!

Very cool find! Look at all the history inside! Those bleachers are cool as heck!!! Rubbin is racing Harry! Explore on 🤘📷
This track had an asphalt straight and dirt/rock on the turns. The straightaway ran downhill, also. A lot of early Indy 500 legends raced here.
Hell yea man, great find!! As always stay safe!
Thank u my friend!
@@MidwestFlesh no problem brother. Forgot to ask, what was up with the warning shot?
That's an awesome name for a racetrack!

That building with the windmill on the roof was the ticket/concession stand. You're in prime covered bridge territory too. 👍
Sweet! Hopefully we could go back & check it out again & some of those bridges
It was a dinner as well
