I have pretty fond childhood memories of Ultimate Flash Sonic. This video has made me slightly scared to revisit it for fear of disliking something I used to love.

My favorite moment was when I was playing as Cream (or Tails) and I flew directly into the spot 2 rails met, which lead to me falling down to the ground and being unable to pass the level since I couldn't get on either rail. I also managed to get stuck in the ground a few times. Fun was had.
Fun fact, at the start of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, it was going to originally have Sonic surf onto Angel Island Zone, and the fact that the sprite of Sonic surfing has the Sonic 2 style can definitely give away the fact that it was cut earlier in development.
