I like how it circled it's prey, scoping it out, getting the best angle of attack and bearing down. I also like how it instantly knew it was fake and spat it out.
I have shoulder problems so I have never cast for Muskie I jigged for them but trolling is my prefer method Caught some 68 of the big Toothys. The last 5 years many on video at my site click on the orange H
One very intriguing fish, that and the similar pike. Just didn’t like that hook. Funny how much we miss on top thinking nothing is happening down there.
@@mikerude5073 when trolling and feeling a sudden and momentary slack is generally a pike having a “taste”. When that bent rod tip goes straight for a second or two, give it a jerk and sometimes you can catch them in their curiosity.

I was thinking the same thing. Always assuming all I had were tiny nibbles. Could have been something big that just didn't like it.
