- In this new 5 part series I transform a corner of my garden to add some color and fun design to an otherwise boring side yard of my house. Hi, my name is Beth and my husband and I run a garden channel here on this corner of the internet! Our usual content is filled with backyard gardening in our Sacramento, CA suburban neighborhood (Zone 9b). I saw an opportunity to do something fun with an otherwise boring and un-inspiring area of our garden. In this series, I stain our concrete sidewalk, paint a stencil pattern, seal the concrete and paint and paint a wall mural! I'm no DIY expert, but I wanted to share my experience with each step of my backyard 'remodel'.
In this final reveal episode I show you the completed outdoor space which I like to think is full of modern-boho vibes. I wanted to not only nod at our mid-century home but draw from the bohemian decor I have on our outdoor covered patio. As a bonus, we recently added a bunch of solar outdoor lights to our garden and I share with you what we got and how we like them!
