This is exactly the information I was looking for. Thank you for breaking it down so clearly! I look forward to visiting Patagonia, your footage looks amazing.
This seems to be a very impressive place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Hi!, what about Aysen Region, the most diverse landscapes of Patagonia!, lakes, forests, fiords and glaciers!!. hope to have you in here soon!! greetings
Hi! I’m trying to plan a trip and your version sounds exactly what I am trying to achieve. Would it be possible to send me your itinerary and outfitters you used? Greatly appreciate any guidance. Ty
Love the video, trying to figure some plans out you guys were so helpful! I’m curious, what did you do with your bags when you were day hiking or on the park and kayak tour? Did you have an Airbnb where you could keep them for the day?
Great question!! No, neither requires much hiking. Perito Moreno does have some steps on the path, but it is the easier one to see without a boat tour.
Thank you so much for the complete breakdown of your trip... I really appreciate it, now I have a better understanding of what to do..... question, was this trip during covid? id like to go late 2021 but would hate to get there and things be shutdown. .. Thanks ... Javier from Los Angeles
Thanks for the kind words, and great question! We were there pre-covid but I just checked with the Chile tour company we booked with (ChileTour Patagonia - highly recommend them!!) The FAQ page on their website says that the national parks are currently open and most lodges/camps plan to reopen this November.
Thanks for the video! Is it better to rent a car from start to end or to take buses everywhere? I'm worried that some routes maybe closed due to covid or being there off season (April)
you guys said that there were buses available to go from el calafate to the perito moreno glacier, did you mean normal city buses? or tourist agency's ones?
Hi! This was before the pandemic, so I'm not sure what the reservation system is now, but when we were there the kayak required tour reservations but the hikes didn't!
Thanks for the video! Just what I was looking for :) One question: did you book your day trips when you got to El Calafate/Puerto Natales or beforehand? If so, how did you do it? Thank you in advance!
Hey! I would recommend to book the day trips beforehand specially if you come in the summer season here, it's pretty packed those days, spring/autumn you can book it when you are here
Amazing review guys. I live in patagonia Argentina but I fell like a tourist 24/7 :D. Thanks for sharing your comments!

Yes, we would LOVE to visit!
@@HudsonAndEmily Great!
Comparisons are very helpful....patagonia still feels one of the most relatively less visited places on 🌎

Do the glaciers you showed at 4:20 require hiking? I have bad knees, can’t hike much. But I can walk long distances on flat surface
Great question!! No, neither requires much hiking. Perito Moreno does have some steps on the path, but it is the easier one to see without a boat tour.
@@HudsonAndEmily thanks for replying. Btw what month you visited? I am thinking September or October
@@jay1970we visited in the beginning of March
Great video! Did you take this trip post Covid and if so what was it like to cross the border between Argentina and Chile?

Amei!
Which time of the year is best to travel to patagonia?
November-March!
Would you recommend needing to know abit of Spanish to get around or was it okay?
Good question! It is definitely helpful to know, but a lot of the tour companies have guides that speak English!
Would you recommend renting a car?
We took busses and were fine, but a car would be easier!!
the fake smiles are quite annoying, but overall the video is informative and nice. thanks!
Why are You smiling all the time? Got implants?
