Soooo glad to see you back. I was getting a bit worried about you. Hope your going to do more pattern making and casting. Loved those videos along with the machine work that goes along with it. Great to see you back, stay healthy for many more years.
G'day, Dave! I'm so glad to see you back!! I've missed your pattern making, casting, even 'your terrific own cooking' videos, and machine shop work! Enjoyed the video - 'High Ball' from the Pennsylvania Live Steamers! Thank you for this fabulous information on resistance soldering! Cheers! :- )
@@roncalverley I went to your youtube home page and it says there is no content. Maybe your youtube is not setup yet to show videos. I can find them in a search.
D do you have ANY idea of how much happiness you bring to people with your videos? Oh I hope so. But I hope you do, because you do. Thanks for all your kind work you do. Happy Trails. High Ball all the way.
Got to get one of those, I'm the same age as Ron and working on the Hood. Here in Thailand everything is difficult to obtain. Wow just priced it $850 delivered here.
For what it's worth, I have models I scratch built up to 40 years ago, constructed of wood, metal, etc., all glued together with thick CA. All are hanging together just fine. Just my (hopefully constructive), experience. :)
I have 2) 300 watt PBL Hotip units. They are by far the best money I have ever spent on tools. You will wonder how you got this far in life without one. The PBL tweezers are a bit smaller than the American Beauty but just as functional. The PBL also has a carbon probe that is very useful, probably more than the tweezers. They ARE expensive to buy new. Buy once cry once but at least you will have one.
Dave, I'm a new subscriber, you are a legend. Stay healthy and do spend sometime listening to Bible audio books while working on your cool trains. Take care brother
Good day! Happy to see you back! Is there an email or any contact address that I can send a message to for a video collab with a big channel? Have a great day! Cheers, V
Hey Dave, just a few days ago I joined a forum trying to reach out to you. I’m looking at an Hardinge ASM-5c and I know you have/had a similar model. Was wanting to make contact if possible before purchasing. How can we talk?

He is showing what the next step moving up as a craftsman would be. There is nothing wrong with staying the same way and never changing.
Great to see you again Dave. :-)
