What a beautiful city, greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷♥️🇸🇦
Thank you so much 🙏 We loved it there. Saude ☺️
I worked in Saudi Arabia on 1977-78 and used to go to Damman but still the old city then, a big change now.
Thank you so much for sharing your story.
That cultural center is probably the best example I have ever seen of architecture in harmony with its environment. Thanks for showing us these wonderful places. Looking forward to Bahrain!
Thanks. That Ithra building really is an impressive piece of architecture, both inside and out. Hope you enjoy the Bahrain videos as much as we enjoyed it there. 😍
Love the enthusiasm and friendliness of the Saudis, the Omanis, and other Arabs I met while traveling to Oman and later to Saudi Arabia. The people treated me with the same warmth these kids are displaying.
It's really awe inspiring how friendly and enthusiastic the people are here. So many times we were humbled by their hospitality. 🙏❤️
Best video of the week.
We need more videos like this.
Thank you 🙏👍😊.
So glad you enjoyed it. Welcome to our channel. 🙏😍
I’m from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 ❤🇧🇷

What a beautiful city!
Yes it is a really pretty place on the beautiful Gulf coast. Well worth a visit. Friendly people too. 😊
Hi Mandy & Lee,
Congrats on reaching the 20k subscribers, let's hope you'll get another 10k by the end of the year 😊
Ithra is a beautiful place / building.
The architect did a fantastic job.
That said, the urban planner must have taken inspiration from the US.
I had a look on Google earth, Ithra can only be accessed by car / bus.
Not pedestrian friendly, even the roads don't have pedestrian crossings.
Anyone planning on going there will definitely find your video useful.
Looking forward for Bahrain.
Wishing you a lovely weekend, take care 😎
Hi Sergio,
Thanks so much 🙏 20k is exciting and it's inspiring us to work harder to improve quality and make more content. ❤️
We were impressed by Ithra. It was a Norwegian firm I think that created it and we could see the similarities to a lot of buildings we saw in Scandinavia.
Yes, pedestrian access is always an issue everywhere in KSA. I think it's possible to take a bus there though.
We're working on Bahrain now and looking forward to showing it next. Have a great weekend ☺️

How lovely. It's a pleasant, pretty place. 😍
Advice, roads are well maintained, the city is clean, but the Zebra isn't yet taken serious, make sure when you cross the cars approaching they see you.
Thank you so much for the great advice, AKPL 🙏🤗
The kids really funny
They were awesome. So much energy. 😁
U look like in star wars 😂😂 its cool really
It was an amazing place to visit. 😲👍
♥️♥️♥️🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
Thanks 🙏😍
Mandy, how often did you wear your abiyah in Saudi Arabia?
Hi Julie. I only wore it, (and actually bought it), in Medina. I was advised tp do so by a few of our Couchsurfing hosts as Medina is a holy city and it was important to dress modestly. Elsewhere in Saudi Arabia I wore tee-shirts, jeans and occasionally a fleece, as Riyadh in January can be surprisingly cold! ~ Mandy
Can you put a translation in Arabic because I love following you?❤️
Thank you so much. We are trying to work out how to do that. When we figure it out we'll add subtitles to our videos. Does anybody know a solution? 🙏🙏
In what month was this filmed? You must be present in Al-Khobar, September 23, National Day
probably near winter so 6-9 months ago
This was filmed in February. We are running about 6 months behind at the moment. We'd love to return for National day. 👍
There are big Malls here in al khobar. Glad that you chose to go in ramaniyah center, it's a designated place for Filipino expatriate to hang out here in Al khobar 😊
We were really lucky that our couchsurfing host introduced us to it. So interesting to see that side of expat life in Khobar. Makes us want to visit Philippines next. Hopefully 🙏😍
Welcome to Al Khobar , Need any assistance let me know dear.....
Thank you so much, that is very kind 🤗😃
🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩✌️✌️✌️👍
Thank you 🙏🤗
I am visiting Al Khobar/Dammam on 1st Dec 2023
Let me knoe if anybody is from there to help me on more details about the city
Good luck with your stay there. Hopefully somebody can help you out from there. People are very friendly to visitors. 🙏
It’s kinda insane to see foreigners travel to cities in my country that I’ve never been to lol.
Hahaha yea it is funny indeed 😊
Haha. I recommend you go to visit. It's a very nice place. I bet you have been to many place we haven't! Are there any you can recommend to us? 😊
@@FrugalTravellers Thanks for replying! I'd recommend Abha Between February and May!
@@y2jfan1998 Thank you so much 🙏
It’s so satisfying watching your videos
And very informative too
Thanks for sharing it with us ❤
Sorry It’s one thing being frugal but another just being cheapskate and a thief. You didn’t pay for that bus journey and happily just sat down, he also illegally stopped to take you on outside of a bus stop. That’s not being nice, it’s illegal. I hope you understand we don’t watch to see “illegal world travellers”
We paid the inspectors when we got off the bus at the mall... but we couldn't record them.
come one...they tried to pay! It's not like they asked if they can go for free, the card didnt work. I lived there for years and I know people are so kind and even if they didnt pay nobody would treat them like criminals, they are tourists...this country want to have more and more tourists so this little amount of money dont even matter trust me. we love and respect tourists there. Please dont call them thieves...
