Nice Video thx man 👍🏼
I definitely love the Thematicz of my ret pally 😏
For me all 3 rogue specs are the same or more complex than all the other specs, at least in mythic. Assa needs to manage stealth in aoe and energy, sub is hard to line all cooldowns, especially with shadowdust, and outlaw punishes extremely hard for dropping adrenaline rush, and incorrectly using vanish/dance since a lot of damage comes from crackshot.
The game is feeling more difficult these days for sure. Rogue has had so many complexities added to it that there isn't much of a beginner spec or build that you can pick anymore to do good on and learn. Same goes for mage and warlock.
Hi ! I started playing wow on dragonflight season 3,got an level boost with the game and decided to make an fury warrior,i was overwhelmed, but in the end i managed to get all the hc kills/get to do 20+ keys, enjoyed a lot the build/talents with Odyn's Fury, but i complely hate the new rotation, its exactly like you said you have to manage the rage well and "spam" a lot of buttons in order to get/spend rage.My point here is that i want an recomandation to an simple class/linear class but having to choose from so many while i still watched your video really gets me wondering what alt shall i make.I was thinking frost dk/survivalist hunter or demonology/balance ! If anyone can/would help me make my mind up i would really appreciate it !
Frost DK is much slower but hits heavy. It's very tanky and while it lacks the usual raid buff like 5% attack power and 5% int, it makes up for it by having death grip to pull any mob towards you. Really no raid should not have a dk, even in normal/heroic, as pulling mobs together is so useful.
It's super tanky and the rotation is simple in the fact that it doesn't require some addons to do it. The buttons flash up when they get a proc. Spending runes on obliterates and spending runic power on frost strike/glacial advance. Then some short cds and long cds. All good fun.
Ret also is very strong and similar but more on the light side thematically.
Survival has a feel of kinds solo play? What I mean is the utility you have helps you a lot. But the rotation isn't complicated at all. As you play it more you can learn more of the complexities to get a little bit more damage.
Balance, while simple, is hard in the fact that you have to have 100% uptime on your dots and your spell usage. In mythic plus especially. You just wont do good damage until the mobs live longer than 40-60 seconds. Also if the tank isn't pulling around your cooldowns.
Demonology takes some time initially. Learning about min maxxing your casts and not moving, pre putting down your teleports, knowing what hits you can tank instead of moving and the rotation has a priority yo need to follow.
@@manannan3 Thanks a lot for the info, you are an life saver ^^.
Assassination rogue, after the Rework, is much more difficult to play than Sub and Outlaw, you have to be very precise with some timing windows like shadow dance, vanish and thistle tea, you have to keep track of every second to use vanish on the last 3 seconds and thistle tea when 5.5 seconds before kingsbane finishes, also there is a huge ramp up time window for damage because of Kingsbane, you need around 20 seconds to do your entire rotation and damage, if you burn your cds too early and you have to move, or do boss mechanics, your dps is screwed.
and looking at the hero talents oof haha
But yeah I admit I know much much less about rogue than any other class/spec.
Theres definitely a level of mastery with surv that focuses on correct bomb usage and kill command weaving that goes beyond just "build spend"
That's what I mean by the 80%/90%/95%/99%/100%.
All specs have complexities to them to squeeze out extra damage.
But survival gives you amazing damage without having to study too much. Like just randomly saying, it feels like you can get 80% of the damage for only 30-40% focus/brain power.
But it still has a lot of nuances to it. The whole coordinated assault mess of a cd, and running spearhead + mongoose bite in raid. Not overcapping focus etc etc. Loads to learn.
Ret paladin guide!
Doesn't need, just press buttons and do big damage, ret is dumb.
hey man just curious what class u main and what alts u use
also how is ret looking in war within? is it worth investing into a ret now to go into the expansion?
Ret is amazing and only gonna get better. There are teensy tinsy slight issues with it picking between AoE focus or ST focus has mostly been fixed now and also in the war within it gets even better.
Currently I've been focusing on tanking. Mostly guardian and balance. Alts is mostly DH, Monk, Mage But this expansion I've tried every role and almost every single spec to some degree (heroic raids or m+8 (+18 last seasons))
@@manannan3 im tossing up between dh ret and mage atm
Holy crap frost dk isn't in a dumpster???
agree, monk is easy to play, but take time to master. theres a league between new player and veteran player. its just too many windows, sef window, serenity window, skytouch, xuen battlegear rsk+fof combo, bdw windw with sck, and on top of that u cant repeat ur skill, priority button and without capping acient teaching, yet without losing JFS uptime..yay, but a great ww will show u its S tier damage with correct bullion piece.
Dh is hard to master and Ret with Surv are easy? This is Wild shit here
I don't think you listen to what I said about havoc. It's wildly different from its previous iterations. It's so much more harder to play properly and there are things you can do to mess up your rotation that will make you lose massive amounts of damage.
On top of the using mobility to dps is extremely dangerous for beginners necause they might not know about cone attacks or needing to stack or needing to not go to some area.
and yes ret and survival are demonstrably easier than havoc these days.
@@manannan3 Its your opinion 🤷♂️
Dh is litteraly best class for new ppl.. Whole wow comunity hate dh for easy rotation and tons of dmg.
Ret is easy you do ton of damage by doing wrong rotation
Kekw. DH is the most slaptard class there ever was in wow.
@@petersirota5124this comment tells me you know Shit. Its not. Try playing a DH in a 15 key as a beginner. One bad timed fel rush and youre gone. I started playing in S3 DF, started with the Ret Pally and managed to get 3,3k rio as a beginner.
