Guys, it's just a leveling and cosmetic farming event. Play anything you want and don't give a damn about rankings or tier lists.
Only thing that might matter to people is mobility in getting quests done but I think there’s a bunch of bonuses to do that. It’s going to be like dynasty warriors like people said. Just plow through. They being said I have 2 dh(one for each faction) I might make one just for speeding a first alt through.
That's the main problem with the game is you feel the need to look up a meta list
@@CooterBrown929 I mean I get it as far as the mentality being a time limited even with a LOT of rewards people want. However the idea is to be broken amazing so a tier to b tier is really inconsequential
"play anything you want" and and blame people for checking tier lists because this are there way to play the game.

You mentioned DPS but you left off healing specs which make Druid, Monk and/or Pally my pick since you can do it all with one class and then get to alts if you want

I think the Quick Strike gem is going to synergize with ret paladin in amazing ways with crusading strikes talent to utilize auto attacks. What other synergies do you all think are going to shine?
Kind of early to really tell right now, but we'll probably know in a few more days.
Thanks a lot for the video - you finally considered me to both play MOP Remix and play a tank (warrior). I already have one on max lvl, but I guess I'll take it to get a heritage armor set

I played monk on the PTR and it was quite fun. Even as WW I was pulling an entire area and burning them down. I only played a day of the ptr and got to level 20 in about 2 hours so getting to max level day 1 or 2 of the event should be pretty easy on a monk.
Yeah we got to 20 something in a little over an hour, so definitely feel wrapping up will be quick.
Is Avoidance good? What about Armor? Wondering what stats to focus on..
Armor gem scaling is actually surprisingly good, but stat gems like Haste/Crit/Vers are a lot more fun!

Play blood dk it's unique and fun tank with a cool fantasy you sustaining yourself in a face of onslaught with death and blood and with a 2h weapon in hands
Thats why I haven't stopped since shadowlands

The whole community needs time to figure out the best gems.
Well after the weekend. Guardian Druids are pretty dang strong with these gems. Can one shot most world content and can solo scenarios fairly easily. After another week should be able to solo dungeons if not raids by the end. Frog farm being fixed already can’t get op overnight anymore but if you did you solo raids now.

I'm happy to hear that the "I'm going to main monk/warrior,....but warrior/monk sure looks fucking fun" dilemma I've been having in S4 isn't just a "me" problem. (Maining warr in S4 because RNGesus gave me a leggo and guild wanted shout for raid, but I really wanna switch for War Within)

Cool I've been healer a bunch but have never tried tanking. This might be the time to try. If I kill raid error. I'll forlorn. Get a real tank or try my newbieness

I assume they're bringing cata into mop which is why they're doing this. That being the case it's not a huge deal, but having retail balance, models, and cast animation is really annoying.
Maybe they'll make a Cata timerunning, but don't think they're gonna be together.

I love you Llarold, but I'll be honest as a fellow tank player I just do not dig how utterly boring Prot warrior is rotationally and I've been listening to you for multiple expansions now, but I just don't jive with Prot like you do. I don't think you mentioned the fact that gems will circumvent most tank issues at all (Including Blood Mobility, Prot Warrior's ST, Bear threat, Veng's lack of threat outside cds, BrMs issues with snap threat). That said this list is a little too biased to what you enjoy rather then giving an unbiased look at what tanks would bring to the table. There is as lot of I don't like this spec or this just isn't as fun or isn't as complete as Prot warrior in the conversation that killed this video for me. You make good points about the differences of tier sets, but I feel that you are overemphasizing a leveling experience that we have been told is accelerated.
That said I do think Prot will be good, but I think you are overvaluing the class due to your bias. I am just a random person, but every single tank should be 100 percent viable, especially with the introduction gems that provide borrowed powers. I really wouldn't give a single edge to any of the other tanks in this event.
