1 time i was hanging out with some older friends. The guy helped me when I was learning to rebuild my top end on a 1999 KX80. He didn't have a dirtbike, and wanted to ride with us so so bad, he had me help him take some dudes bike out of a shed that was behind his house. I didn't know we were stealing it. I then called another of my friends to pick us up after we stole it with a truck. It was like a 1978 yamaha 250 2 stroke. It was like 10 mph faster than the kx 80 but not as fast off the line. We had a blast on it. Dont remember what happend with it. I was like 17. I used to hang out with some dirtbags really tho...

Vee I got a 2005 trx450r brand new piston, rings, gaskets, new valves, carb cleaned very good and bottom end is good. Problem I’m having is it try’s to start and I have had it start like 4-5 times but when I put the idle down to where it is ment to be it would die and also if I went to ride it with the high idle it would kill itself right away my question is does this sound like a fual issue or cdi box Ik they can cause hard start and stalling

Timing has to be on point regardless. Pilot jet and air/fuel screw is what makes it one kick.
