Visit Sharjah Maritime Museum and discover the history of the traditional fishing methods, sea songs, pearl diving and trade trips in the United Arab Emirates.
The museum presents marvelous and diverse aspects of the sea-related life that had such a great impact on Sharjah's heritage, and the development of coastal cities for over 6,000 years.
Explore the traditional wooden seafaring dhows used for fishing, trading and pearl diving. Enjoy the beauty of the genuine Arabian pearls collected by our ancestors from the deep blue waters of the Gulf, which still possess the same luster and glamour today as they did when they were first harvested.

Sharjah Maritime Museum is located in Al Khan, adjacent to Sharjah Aquarium.
Opening Hours :
Saturday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Entry fee :
•Children aged between two and twelve are required to pay AED 5
•Adults and teenagers over 13 are required to pay AED 10 for tickets to Sharjah Maritime Museum.
•Children aged between 2-12 years old can enter both the museum and aquarium for AED 15
•Adults can visit both of these places for AED 25
