Yes! In publishing, that’s called “above the fold” (what you were describing about keeping everything on your dashboard easy to access/view), like when you purchase a printed newspaper and the big, important headlines are at the top part of the folded page. 🤓
OKAY, can I just say how amazing this all is! It's so nice to have everything all in one place. I especially appreciate the bounce back checklists - it's so true that most of the time when you're feeling off it links to some sort of lack of self care aspect, this is such a good reminder! Thank you for this video! I will be sure to re watch and be adding a couple of these lists and templates to my current Notion
I've spent an embarrassing amount of time organizing my perfect Notion setup...now it's time to start getting things done! I'm pretty sure i used your link, so hopefully you get credit for it. Love Notion, I feel like it's my 2nd brain.
I only just set mine up yesterday. I have a feeling it's going to be a huge trial and error before I can use it effectively, especially with all of the options for layout and databases!
@@emilycresswell2221 Definitely take some time to brainstorm and decide what you want to have. It took me a while to learn the shortcut keys, etc. But now I feel like I'm a whiz at it! Good luck with your setup.

I've been watching you for what feels like forever (definitely since the Simplify challenge videos) and a couple of months ago I was doing a MuchelleB rewatch-binge and was reminded of Notion.
I remember you saying it was paid in the video but then when I went and checked (like you said) it was free!
I spent a good part of that week implementing my own dashboards and pages based on your templates and it has made such a big difference in my life.

Thank you for sharing :) I was inspired to start having my own Notion page (after watching your earlier videos) as I too know the struggle of having bits and bobs all over the place. My favourite quote this month comes from Aileen from Lavendaire which I think goes nicely with your growth as a content creator: "As you grow in life, your standards grow as well." Therefore, keep moving forward; do not remain stagnant and content with where you are at. Living life to your fullest potential means prioritizing growth! I set up my Notion so well based on your recommendations, and I was using it for my weekly reset and to-dos and etc. But then the pandemic hit and the working from home and my routines got all wonky. This video was a nice reminder that I can get back into it, even while being at home all the time. Thank you for the constant motivation :) By the way, my manager refers to Notion as "your brain app" :D
