Very fond memories of looking down on the locomotives steaming along the Mon River in Morgantown, WV, or watching the action at Connellsville yard from my uncle's front porch during WW II, with double headed coal, manifest and military trains headed up the Sand Patch grade on their way to Cumberland and Baltimore. Beautiful steam action that I didn't appreciate at the time, but are today wistful memories. 😢
I love these old footage videos. They preserve an era nearly forgotten.
