Interesting way to balance out the guns, could see speccing different types for different situations, but that close quarters perk should be on every gun. Big bullets don't do less damage at shorter range, that's just silly.
I've played with the perks some in game, and none of them seem super OP as yet, but then again, I've only progressed to level 5 at the most on any particular weapon class.
they give us "enhanced/faster reloading" but first they nerfed the normal reload speed. with ARs: the "faster" reload speed is what the normal reload speed before was.
These are like perks from the original Destiny. I liked the semi realism the game brings. Some of these are ridiculous or OP. I hope there is an option to enable or disable them.
None of the gun skills feel overpowered, the individual or gradual +% feel like they would be in the later gameplay. But with the devs taking out gunsmithing, i won't be continuing my .52 playthrough. I like to think they took out gunsmithing because of the specializations not being balanced, but how they work, i dont see how. I hope its not a hindsight thing, but ill be waiting for the gunsmithing patch
The weaker weapon classes get more perks to make them more effective. Makes sense, really, and this doesn't necessarily reflect any changes that may be made later so it could be totally different in a few weeks.
Of course they update the game on the day the power company is changing the pole in front of my house.
😂😂
Gunsmith books are still required to craft ammo but are taken out of quest rewards, which feels a little weird.
Yeah, I noticed that as well and it killed all the fun of my game yesterday. So stupid. What are they even doing as devs?
@@TheZenJin Gunsmith books are still dropping. Just got one a couple minutes ago.
@@TheZenJin Calm down man, at least try it out first. Damn
And it isn't even that hard to find gunsmith books anyway

Awesome data! Great to see you more on my main views :D Keep it high!

I enjoy the new skills system. I only started a late august though, so i never really got to experience the old system.
It's a good way to incentivise using different weapons. Let's see how it plays out this afternoon when I play

Does the character indicator on the map inside buildings work properly for you?
Anyone having trouble with the quick menu on steam deck? I put grenades and medkits in there but when I pull up the menu it shows nothing in there

I've played with them in game, and they seem fairly balanced so far. I think any OP perks are saved until end game.
you still do find gun skills books.
