Lean forward a bit to stress the pecs more, fast going down , slow releasing up, pyramid down to muscular failure, then add 20% at the end and pyramid back down. You should never be able to out use this one. If you are then change things up. The combinations go on forever. I find this better than close grip benching. This one just works.
Thanks for this clip I'm new to working out at planet fitness, and some of the workout equipment I'm not familiar with. The next workout I'll know how to use this.
Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.
Thank you! I went to PF for the first time today and did the treadmill and this arm rowing machine and want to add this tricep machine to my itinerary tomorrow! The trainer wasn't there today and I couldn't figure it out myself so yay! I really hope this will help with my bat wings!
I love that machine. I consider it more of a dip machine. I can't kneel due to my knees so I can't really use the assisted dip machine but this triceps one seems to replicate the movement exactly.
Thanks for the video. I've been using the other triceps machine and not quite getting the results I had hoped for. I will give this one a try and see how it works out.
This one is pretty good, I haven't tried many tricep machines other than this one but in just two weeks of using it with steady weight increase I saw results (which is crazy because I hadn't done much strength training before)
Every stinking time i get on this machine the arms are either far apart or too close to my body and i couldnt figure out how to adjust the arms!! Thank you! Im 150 lbs and maxed the weights on this machine today lol proud of myself. Now for more reps!
So for the height adjustment you adjust it depending on how short or tall you are, so if you’re tall you adjust it lower that way the handles go more upward?
I know the machine shows a picture of what area the machine targets. It would be ever helpful if you would consider also saying that in the video tutorials.
I can do an insane anount of weight on this compared to other machines and I never feel it in my triceps. Not sure if im just doing it wrong? I woke up with sore shoulders after doing it. Should elbows be tucked in or out? Doesnt seem to make a difference with handle direction.
I just maxed out this machine today for 4 sets of ten in my quest to get strong enough to do a muscle up. Now I have to find another exercise to replace it.
Bro I keep on having problems feeling my triceps can someone help? I been doing everything for triceps whether it's ropes dumbbells whatever you name it and I can never feel them. Someone please help I even try and make sure my form is perfect
Grab a dumbell and do overhead tricep extensions..go as heavy as you can to do at least 3 sets of ten reps. I use 55lb dumbells with a two handed grip. Guarenteed you'll feel it in your triceps!
I think it can be a multi-grip. Personally I do two sets of 10 with the normal grip, and 2 sets of 10 with the grip in the video and have been getting some pretty decent results so far

Tricep press do regular dips if ur looking for pecs
I finally got the courage to use this machine tonight. Holy cow, it burns. My new fave ❤

Thank you so much! I've been wanting to try new machines at the gym, but I'm a little intimidated

Were you using the one at the 30 minute circuit thingy?

Thank you.
Nvr feel my triceps with this machine, also if you put the handles outwards that is for chest
Do you target different areas by turning the handles out?
If you're wider, wider is better. Doesn't really target anything different.
Its mainly for body types wider for wide body and the narrow more for smaller framed people
i'm female so i use the arms inside! it's sort of meant to be a basic adjustment for shoulder width
So for the height adjustment you adjust it depending on how short or tall you are, so if you’re tall you adjust it lower that way the handles go more upward?
You’d want your elbow just above the handles
I know the machine shows a picture of what area the machine targets. It would be ever helpful if you would consider also saying that in the video tutorials.
The title says it's a Triceps Press Machine... so the triceps are your target area...
Now you can scan the QR code and look at the video your self 😀
@@victoriagail5861 ok but theres 3 parts of triceps, what if this only works 1 or 2 of the tricep parts?
I like to stand up up just a little bit wen doing these gives an extreme stretch on the tricep

i keep mine tucked in i think its better that way
I think it's more like a dip machine, when I want to hit triceps I do push downs on the cable machines
Does that work essentially work out the back of ur arm ?!
Correct
seated dips actually!
I just maxed out this machine today for 4 sets of ten in my quest to get strong enough to do a muscle up. Now I have to find another exercise to replace it.
Is this machine effective in getting bigger triceps?
@✮ Just a nice channel ✮ it’s good for shoulders too, that’s why he’s doing it
@justanicechannel7999 the top of the movement is a single-bar dip which does require tricep strength
One of my faves
I never knew the handles flipped
Do you have your elbow inwards or outwards ?
My favorite machine
Mines 2
Which head of the triceps does this exercise
does it sort of work out your back muscles also since you pushing down on it?
No, back muscles are used for pulling weight towards you. This works the triceps, shoulders and chest.
At what point do you eat the pizza?
Which tricep head is this hitting?
Is this the same as the seated dip machine?
Pretty much, you can feel it working your pecs as well
Nice machine

I use just below the handle
Good machine but does it also work out your abs ?
Abs are not significantly engaged. Mostly triceps, shoulders, and chest.
I be doing 175 on there 5 sets of 10 good workout
That’s a good burn
I'm not really sure about this machine since I'm not that strong, yet i can do 220+ for reps
hello sir I m from india. how can I get this machine? ?
Varinder Kumar gym
I love the machine but its not heavy enough
Umm... I think you're holding the handles wrong. At least according to the picture on the machine
I think it can be a multi-grip. Personally I do two sets of 10 with the normal grip, and 2 sets of 10 with the grip in the video and have been getting some pretty decent results so far
I tried this machine today and I felt like I was hitting more on my chest than triceps. I am not sure if the seat is too low or high for me.
Same here. I felt like I got the one of thr best chest pumps lol
@@octane4520 fr after I just went on over to the cable flies and continued the chest pump hahahah
You might need to raise or lower the seat. Also make sure you are sitting straight. Don't lean forward too much
Same! I came to watch this video to see if I was doing it right. I do not feel it in my triceps!
a little late but its like a chest support dips which hits more of the chest than tricep. dips are good for building chest.
im 15 and can almost do 205 for reps 💪
Who cares?
