Having a 4 month old right now.. needed this video so badly! You keep me sane right now, I swear. Sleep regression, clinging like crazy, mood swings, hurting back and arms… no time for yoga, showers, errands… yet everything’s still so precious and exciting ❤️
I love how you talk to sage and explain everything to her even though she can’t really respond or fully understand. I feel like it just sets a great precedent for communication and the relationship in the future!!! You’re doing a great job I hope you’re so proud of yourself 💖
I have a 4 month old and I really needed to see this because my baby is NOT normal. He’s suffering with GERD and is also teething so I am a complete mess. I’m happy you were able to enjoy this stage a bit more than I am able to
Thank you for always keeping it so real! I have a 4 month old too and I swear you’re the only one I’ve watched who is honestly about life with a 4 year old. Our daughters are so much alike. So fun going through this journey with you!💗
I totally relate with you when you said “They sense when you are trying to get something done” 😁 because even I have a 4month old baby girl and she loves to be entertained all day.
Totally with you girl.. I am with 2 month old girl and almost 3 year old boy all day and alone when my husband's gone to work.. it's a lot of juggling. I used to try to do everything around the house and keep up all day but then I realized that I get burnt out and exhausted after running around without any break. So now, I'm trying to go easier on myself and try to enjoy the time with the kids and get some shut eye or yoga stretch when kids are napping to re-energize myself. Housework can wait till later.. Self care is definitely a huge priority especially as a mom because we need the energy to take care our little ones! Love these type of vlogs :)
This video is so relatable i too have a 5 month old daughter .. at first i too used to think about house chores all the time like cooking laundry and cleaning and i was over stressing myself cuz i couldn't do all the chores so i realized its exhausting for me so i planned stuff which was more important and get that done while she's asleep and leave the rest cuz giving my daughter all my attention and giving myself some rest n peace was imp too ..
My son is 3.5 months and girl going through all the same stuff. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. It’s exhausting but I can’t imagine my life any different without him now.
I have been watching your videos since I got pregnant and now my son is 2month old. Taking care of myself is the last thing I do but after watching your video, it made me realized how important it is to take care of myself for my mental health. My son is supper clingy and need all of my attention all the time but I will try to meditate while he is napping. Thank you so much!
I can't get enough of cutie patootie Sage. She's growing so quickly. Just love your videos. You're so relatable Nikole and so honest and transparent. You tell it like it is.
Dear Nikole, thank you so much for sharing your motherhood journey with the rest of us. My first is currently 3 months old and my husband got Covid with pretty bad symptoms last week, so I was on my own with our son for 5 days in a row and felt so miserable and exhausted that I didn’t even remember what to do throughout the day. Like what activities and since I had a cold too, I really just let myself go. Thank you for keeping it real and setting such a great example of parenting with Matt. I watched a bunch of your videos the other day and pulled myself together. Made myself a nice smoothie, ordered fresh groceries for salads and healthy meals. Enjoyed really good quality time with my baby and reminded myself that everything is well. I also took some time to do some forearm and wrist stretches after watching you do yoga since I got nasty mommy thumbs on both hands and have been putting off taking care of myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You really helped me pull through these past few days and reminded me that a wholesome approach to life is the way to go. It’s not just survival anymore. Even prior to this your videos always inspired and motivated me. So a huge thank you again.
Thank you for this! I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. So lost how to balance life as a wife and new mother. Everybody's telling me I should be doing this or that but not showing me how it's done. I had no clue! And now that my babe is in sleep regression and won't let me put her down for naps (sleeps on me), it's even harder. Thankful she sleeps well at night at least.
I've been watching you for a few years now. As a dog mom and a ftm to a 4 month old baby, it's nice to see how similar our days are and it's not just me who struggles with baby and multitasking #momlife
I'm watching this now with a 3 month old miraculously napping by himself atm (he usually needs to be held to stay asleep). It's so comforting to see you showing just a normal day in your life with Sage when you're by yourself at home and that it's not always perfect. It makes me feel like I'm not alone in this and there are many mamas out there who are all just trying to do our best to take care of our little ones. Thank you for showing us snippets of your life 😊
It's crazy...I watched this before I gave birth and am watching now when my baby is 4-months old....My impression before was "oh that doesn't seem bad" lol. Now, I just feel your struggle throughout the whole video and kept thinking "damn she must be so tired"! I mean dont get me wrong, you're killing it! But like..it is absolutely a struggle and I have so much more respect for moms!
I love your videos. You have the most realistic “day in the life taking care of baby” videos ’ve seen on UA-cam. Your experiences reflect what I am going through with my 11 week old right now and I feel a sense of solidarity when I watch your videos. I get tips from you too , like putting baby in the bouncer while I shower. Can you do a video where you talk about or show how you work full time with a baby? I’m heading back to work and I’m nervous.
Also, I think it’s really great you’re reading to her! I’ve read that at 4 months babies that are read to can start developing the foundation for language and may, over time remember the words you read to them.
4 months was when each of my babies went from waking 2-3 times per night to waking every hour-it lasted a few weeks- I vividly remenber that sleep regression years later.😱
Loved this video, the chair was so funny when you said the disclaimer, meanwhile me with the same chair, I am so doing this so I can finally wash the dishes lol I struggle with his naps too, I’m in between napping with him, finally eating or cleaning the house. What I’ve been doing lately is napping or eating and taking my vitamins. In the beginning the house was near spotless and dinner was done before my husband came home and I want to go back to that but I got so exhausted and I almost never ate enough. With breastfeeding not eating is really bad. My husband told me, if he’s sleeping you are sleeping or eating. Also, My baby got overtired today. The cat sneezed. Chaos ensued lol 😂
I’m here for ALL YOUR VIDEOS👏🏾❤️ Love what life IS REALLY LIKE vids because you don’t cover up the ‘real’ moments parents face with just the calm moments ❤️👏🏾😅
I really appreciate you taking the time to film these kinds of videos. I'm 5 months pregnant and since watching your pregnancy journey it's really helped me feel more calm and confident. I especially like the fact that you keep things real and share your experience with us. So many of my friends who were pregnant never really shared any valuable information and just keep saying how great everything was. My pregnancy hasn't been easy and very enjoyable but I'm thankful for all the Tipps and tricks that I can learn and I'm making the best of it. I can't wait to meet my little girl 💕. Keep up the great content, its wonderful 😊.
My oldest is 7 and the newborn - baby stage was by far the hardest stage so far. When you don't sleep and your baby cries a lot...it can make you feel broken. I could handle tantrums and everything else as long as I didn't wake up every 1-2 hours anymore and did not have to deal with incessant crying.
My 4 month old is soooo clingy. I decided to go work and a daycare and have her start with me (in a different classroom) just us I’m super broke and stressed at home. I’m also sleep deprived. I love being with her and I’m so scared because they don’t give babies one-on-one attention like I do at home. Mom guilt is happening !! 😭😩 Watching this video was so relatable.
Ah I just got all the feels u took me back to how it was with my daughter 😭💗 just trying to take care of yourself and baby as a new Mom is soooooo hard! Now I have 2 under 2 and that’s a wild ride lol my son is 5 months thank u for motivating me to move my body more bc wow I need it! Love watching u and Sage ❤️💗
I like ur sentence about sage being your priority !!! Very well done !!! I was so hard on myself with my first kid and wanted t make sure everything was perfect and organized but trust me if you re rested and take care of yourself first this will impact positively and all the rest of your memenbers !!! It’s the best time investment ever !! You will c !! Things would get harder once they grow , but u will appreciate every second of it !!! Good luck Nicole !! Kisses from Montréal
Is it safe for your baby to sit at just 4 months? My doctor says babies can sit at six months of age, not earlier, it's not safe for their spinal cord.
My daughters love watching your videos with me now because of Sage💚. When you were saying how she is safe on the counter while you make your coffee , my 6yr old was like " yea yea that's ok, that's what you did mommy " with my now 2yr old. The shower too ! Lmfao parents understand trust me ! I had to sing through my quick showers so my babies didnt freak out lmfao . YOU ARE DOING GREAT !!!!!💚💚💚💚💚💚
At 31:00, I love your introspection regarding being a Mommy. You love it, it's wonderful and you've got to talk about it! :) Makes me happy to hear those things!
Question! I saw that you’re very into the non toxic lifestyle do you also cloth diaper? If you do I’d love to hear your routine and how it works best for you! If you don’t, then no worries!
I'd like to start getting into meditation what do you use? Laying down with the headphones and computer sounds like a great way for me to get started. Let me know. Thank you.
It’s so good she falls asleep on her own and takes such long naps such as two hours!! I don’t know why you just don’t do your yoga stretches etc in that window instead of when she’s awake especially when whe obviously wants attention! (Btw I know this video is old but I have a nearly 4 month old and it’s not even close to that :D)
I love going back to your videos that are my baby’s current age! Love to see a mom going through the same things as me and the similarities and differences between our babies 🥰
Love your content !!! I watch you and Jessica Braun , and Sarah religiously ! Also can you mention what water jug you use for your oil diffuser to fill the water ? Thanks so much!!
Hi Nicole I love you so much you have tough me to be healthier in one of your videos you were talking about living in Toronto I actually live a couple of minutes away from you hahaha I love u 😍
Hi there! Sage is so cute. You may want to look into hip positioning in baby carriers, it looks like Sage may need a wider base to better support her thighs and hips. The international hip Dysplasia Institute has some good info online about positioning. I only noticed because it’s something I’ve been mindful of with my baby!
So so cute vlog. You are so real mama. Thank you. Im so in love with you ❤️ I have some mental issues since my son was born (2 1/2 y ago) so my daylife philosophy is verry simmilar to yours. Take care of yourself mumy. You are perfectly imperfect (in the best way)
Nothing wakes a Mum up faster than a 💩 diaper!! There is something about it that ignites the senses😷. The headband is super cute on you. Thankyou for sharing all Sages little milestones, those bubby situps will build abs on her. Have a great weekend. 👍
Jajajaajajaj i love your sincerity and humor!! You’re doing great mama!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 mu daughter is 2 years old and i think this stage is my prefer, but i’m pregnant again and can’t wait to hold a litlle baby on my arms again.. I don't miss sleepless nights so much 😰 anyways!! Sage is adorable!! ❤️🥰

same here
Wow me too
Omg same here right now. It’s so nice to hear I’m not alone in this.
I love how you talk to sage and explain everything to her even though she can’t really respond or fully understand. I feel like it just sets a great precedent for communication and the relationship in the future!!! You’re doing a great job I hope you’re so proud of yourself 💖
She’s one of those babies that is just a perfect combo of her parents!! Can’t tell who she looks more like! 😊
Aww 🥰
I have a 4 month old and I really needed to see this because my baby is NOT normal. He’s suffering with GERD and is also teething so I am a complete mess.
I’m happy you were able to enjoy this stage a bit more than I am able to

That makes me so happy to hear ❤️❤️
I agree!! Nikole and Matt have been so honest and real even throughout the pregnancy and beyond, makes it so relatable. 👍
@Homeschool Flip Throughs : Agree👍
WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE TWO BACK TO BACK VIDEOS FROM YOU; SO SOON?! Idk, but I’m here for it!😅❤️‼️
I totally relate with you when you said “They sense when you are trying to get something done” 😁 because even I have a 4month old baby girl and she loves to be entertained all day.
My 5 month old loves to watch Sage in your videos. Helps keep her entertained while I am working in the kitchen. We both enjoy your videos
Thank you for being real. I also wanted to tell you that you’re doing a great/awesome job with mom life!!

I’m learning about Lifespan Development right now and I am loving watching Sage’s progression & pointing out her milestones! 👶🏼 🎀

I love how you share the reality that babies cry. You’re a great mom!
I’m amazed at how you do all this! Thanks for the real look into motherhood during this day and age.
I can't get enough of cutie patootie Sage. She's growing so quickly. Just love your videos. You're so relatable Nikole and so honest and transparent. You tell it like it is.

Did you do anything different? My baby only naps on my lap and I am desperately trying to put him to nap on his crib (but he refuses).
The shot of you holding Saje, drinking your smoothie and Cashew - that’s real life with a NB during a pandemic!
Haha
Huhu
Ok 👌
1+1
Ooooo

You’re so sweet! So happy you’re enjoying the mommy vlogs ☺️

i just want to say that i literally watched your whole video with my 2 month old on my bed. she was so concentrated and loved watching sage :-)
Ah I just got all the feels u took me back to how it was with my daughter 😭💗 just trying to take care of yourself and baby as a new Mom is soooooo hard! If you and Matt are comfortable, could you do a video about stories when you were dating?
Sage is really an adorable child ❤️❤️❤️

Hey Nicole, love your videos! It'd be great if you could recommend some meditation videos you use. You look so peaceful when you meditate! Thanks 😊
Mine are 4 and 7 and so far I always have lilked each new age the best. 😍
Sage is just so adorable 😊 I love her bright eyes and smile!
She's so cute and so alert
Currently a mom to a newborn baby girl. This is so helpful.
At 31:00, I love your introspection regarding being a Mommy. You love it, it's wonderful and you've got to talk about it! :) Makes me happy to hear those things!
How did you train Sage to sleep on her own?
When you said folding laundry wasn't your favorite I looked up and glared at the two baskets in front of me. 🙃 Love your videos!
Sage so pretty ..I really enjoy your videos with sage
Sagey is just absolutely BEAUTIFUL ☺️🥰❤️
Question! I saw that you’re very into the non toxic lifestyle do you also cloth diaper? If you do I’d love to hear your routine and how it works best for you! If you don’t, then no worries!
I have a 4 month old baby. Thanks for keeping it real!!!
Hi I think the mention of the baby carrier is missing : )
i loveee your channel!! your thumbnails are adorable!
Where did you get the pink baby chair from? From how many months can babies sit in that?
Great vlog! What is the smoothie product you used? Do you know if it’s available in the USA or just Canada?
I'd like to start getting into meditation what do you use? Laying down with the headphones and computer sounds like a great way for me to get started. Let me know. Thank you.

What’s the baby carrier that you were using at 23:03? And do you recommend it?
What boppy pillow do you have
"the struggle, the struggle" 😂😂 I feel you
What baby carrier do you use?
Question about the part 23:30 of the video, does your baby sleep by herself without your help???
This is so relatable! Especially when your showering 🤣 I love it!
Please make a video regarding body Image during pregnancy and post-partum!
You seem so confident and happy and it's very inspiring!!!!
I love going back to your videos that are my baby’s current age! Love to see a mom going through the same things as me and the similarities and differences between our babies 🥰
It’s so nice seeing this! My 4 month old is in the clingy stage and can’t wait for it to end 🙄😆
Love your content !!! I watch you and Jessica Braun , and Sarah religiously ! Also can you mention what water jug you use for your oil diffuser to fill the water ? Thanks so much!!
Hey i love the necklace.. where is it from???
I laughed when you were excited it was 15 degrees then I realized you are probably referring to Celsius lol
Hi Nikole ! Thanks for your videos, love you! What meditation tracks do you listen to ?
You are a really good Mommy!💕
You are perfectly imperfect (in the best way)
Hello from Australia!
Where did you get the clay beads from?
Aww baby Sage is so adorable 🥰🥰🥰 Thanks for sharing 😉
The showering is so real 😂😂
Is she in the beginning or in the end of the fourth month?
What was the feeding pillow did you use?
You're amazing doing so many things well. Also very inspiring and creative. Love watching your videos so much!!! 🥰❣️❣️❣️
Lol on the Yoga shot. thank you for sharing all.
Aww she loves those kisses! Sooo cute! Shes so alert and aware of things too❤️
Oh my goodness someone looks like her momma! She is precious
the way she was staring at me at 5:17
I’m sure this has been asked tons of times and you’ve said it somewhere but what do you use for your meditations? 🙈
My baby is about ti be four months she has been trying to sit up alone but hasnt really done it
I wonder how you have so many things bouncer 2 swings etc and yet keep your place neat
I have no bouncer and no swing and my place is messy 😆😅😅
Nothing wakes a Mum up faster than a 💩 diaper!! There is something about it that ignites the senses😷. The headband is super cute on you. Thankyou for sharing all Sages little milestones, those bubby situps will build abs on her. Have a great weekend. 👍
What nursing pillow do you use?
Where do you live coz I’ve tried to get the headband but could not get it shipped to Montréal Canada 😌😌
The sofa looks so comfortable when you breastfeed. Could you please tell me the link? Where did you get it? Thanks.😊
Can you link your nursing pillow please?
It’s linked in my pregnancy must haves blog post ☺️
Jajajaajajaj i love your sincerity and humor!! You’re doing great mama!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 mu daughter is 2 years old and i think this stage is my prefer, but i’m pregnant again and can’t wait to hold a litlle baby on my arms again.. I don't miss sleepless nights so much 😰 anyways!! Sage is adorable!! ❤️🥰
Congrats!!!
My baby girl is 6 months old and at this moment, I REALLY cannot imagine how you mamas handle pregnancy with a young child and after baby is born. RESPECT! Congratulations nevertheless 😊
Lovely 😌 What baby swing is that?
