Having watched Yelena Isinbayeva throughout her career and considering the competition she was up against, I'm a little shocked that things have seemed to have gone backwards with the Women's Pole vault. Yelena's final World Record of 5.06m was set in 2009. It seems that no one looks to be able to challenge it.
