I Love to fly tandem with other pilots, sharing the flight with someone that knows what is going on and that can help the decision making process.. it is just super
I got to fly tandem with my instructor at one point while I was getting my P2 a couple weeks ago, and it was so helpful! Super reassuring as a new pilot to realize that turbulence is normal, and the wing can handle much crazier maneuvers than I ever do. Tandem wingovers are so fun!
Greg, one recommendation that I may give you, after the thousand reccomendation you have given to me, as your follower. When I fly tandem with a passenger who will be holding the brakes for a long time, steering the glider, thermalling, etc., I get a couple of old paraglider toggles, and hook them to the end of the brake line with a small carabiner, so the passenger holds those toggles, with probably 12 to 15 cms of line. That is because as the passenger is in front, if they hold the normal tandem toggles, they have to either strech out their arms back or they will allwas be holding the toggles with some brake, just because they are in front. So, I add passenger toggles for them once in flight, with old toggles, a short line and a small carabiner. Furhter, I can continue to hold the normal toggle myself at all times. Before landing, unless the passenger is also making the approach and flair, I take the passenger toggles off with the smalll carabiner.
Awesome! Once i complete my crossover from paramotor to EP/CP paraglider, I'd love to come learn how to soar with you. Tucker Gott inspired me to take to the skies with a paramotor, now I'm finding an increasing pull towards freeflight because of your brilliant videos :D I've already put a lot of your advice to good use in making me safer when I get near thermals, can't imagine how much I could learn 1 on 1. Thanks Greg :)
I think you could get the best of both - paramotors are useful for getting airtime and avoiding site frustration, allowing you to maximise your effectiveness when you get a rare perfect day on the hills!
@@FlyWithGreg as it so happens, we do have a few spare... Not been a great flying year here though (wind, rain, snow n clouds in abundance). Enjoy your vids! Hi to all fly addicted in the UK 🤪
As of right now, very short, because very few people know about it! I could fly you within a week, but it only works if you are in the southern part of the UK, as I run it on short notice based on the weather forecasts!

I sure wish I could learn to paraglide from you. A person needs to have 100% trust in their instructor...enough said.

@@FlyWithGreg couldn't agree more 😁
Master at work!
Very kind of you Sasha, but I prefer skydog ... so many years chasing clouds, and I still can't get enough :-)
@@FlyWithGreg sorry! I shall correct that!
Hi Greg
Another fantastic video 👍👍👍
Looks amazing! Nothing better than a passenger having a great time 😎😎😎 Hi from the boys @flyzermatt
do you have any spare mountains you can send over to England please?
