Red zone penalties was the story but PFF isn’t aware of that.
They literally just go by numbers no film no nothing 😂
@DemBrozkis They watch plenty of film but only the snaps that can count towards grades. Penalty plays and context do not exist for them.
Grades are calculated they have an assessment and acknowledged they need to be better in the redzonr
Brother they were a problem because the offensive like for Washington is ass
@@ex-pr6nk No lies detected.
These guys don’t watch the games 😂😂😂
pff should give Austin Seibert a 100 rating for 7/7 FG's
Giants D couldn’t stop the offense. Without false starts this game isn’t close.
exactly! I'm a life-long washington fan and I'm 40 years old. I can't remember a single game where we scored on every possession. It's remarkable. They'll clean it up. There's a lot to build on.
Both teams are trash. Washington is lucky they're not 0-2 like nyg are. 1 dropped pass and they would have been. 1 injured kicker spared then an 0-2 start. Nyg only punted once, wash couldn't stop them either.
@@SillyGoose2024 you’re in your feelings. Giants are really bad and have no upside whatsoever. All those “highly talented” players and 18 points and let the commanders go up and down all game. Giants also had a turnover and turnover on downs. Benefited bc delay in game should have been called as well. Focus on the rebuild!
@@DCpounderhe literally admitted to saying both teams are bad. im glad we lost because we will be able to tank more efficiently. regardlessly both teams will most likely be picking top 5 in the draft.
@@davidlinehat4657 Maybe. Maybe not. But agreed that we do have some things we can build with. But remember... we were playing a very bad football team, that is already in dysfunction. Don't get too excited. We desperately need multiple CBs, at lest one legit WR2, and a couple more legit NFL Starting O-Linemen. We're not good.
Andru Phillips should've been the highest graded defender for the giants he's killing it in the run game as a rookie and gave up less than 30 yards in 2 games combined
Jayden Daniels was sacked 5 times. Nobody is talking about that. They left 5 TDs on the field. There are too many false starts. It's hard to blame seasoned veterans on that.
A few of those were 1 or 2 yarders though.
Can someone who watched this game PLEASE explain to me how on earth Brian Burns had a better grade than Andrew Thomas? That makes absolutely no sense. Thomas pitched a shutout - no qb hits, no pressures, no sacks. Did his job. Burns was a ghost. Made absolutely no impact on the game. Practically forgot he was playing. And where is Dru Phillips? He was by far the best Giants player on the field for long stretches of the game (outside of Nabers), and the PI call against him was bogus. And how can you say Washington should have won by more and then talk about their red zone efficiency? They constantly shot themselves in the foot and took false start penalties on 4 or 5 and-goal drives in a row. It doesn't even seem like they watched clips of the game, let alone actually watched the game. And to call Malik Nabers "by far" the best player on the Giants offense shows massive disrespect to Andrew Thomas. There are so many things wrong with this segment.
They ABSOLUTELY should have won by more...
He was out there, he got injured on that play Ekeler tried to jump over him
It’s actually cringey, you can very obviously tell these dudes didn’t watch the game but are trying to break down and analyze it like experts
Don't know what he's bagging on St Juste. He was actually pretty good. It was whoever was on the other side (Davis, Igbinoghene) and the lack of a pass rush (or run defense)
Payne 72.4 ? Really ? Did he have a talkle? oh yeah 1 PFF I will never understand...
Payne was visibly getting pushed around, Devin singletary was walking through those holes. Giants were attacking Payne and Allen. Literally no possible way even including context that you could argue Payne played well
there's no way in hell Daniel jones played better than Jayden.. wtf are these grades...
Giants only had the ball 5 times and scored 3 touchdowns. Daniel Jones delivered the game win and Malik dropped the ball. Washington, 0 touchdowns
@@Matt90541Washington also didn’t punt at all
Penalties are the reason Washington couldnt do anything. First play of the game kickoff return for td was brought back because of holding which wasnt needed. Everytime Washington got in the redzone they had a false star which helped kill those. Penalties was such a factor this game
Penalties against the Giants also extended Washington's drives - like the 3rd down play where Andru Phillips got tackled by the Washington TE and a penalty was called on Giants.
Would have been 4th down.
@@Matt90541
-4&1 on nyg 4 Washington going for it false start b. Sinnot, ends drive.
-1&10 on nyg 14 false start s.cosmi
-2nd&goal on nyg 4 false start n. Allegretti
-1st&goal on nyg 6 false start s.cosmi
-same drive 3&goal nyg 10 false start c.lucas
Dont get me wrong both teams had penalties to extend the others drives not just the giants but Washingtons penalties effectively killed our own drives. These were our own penalties that stopped us and effectively killed our own drives
@@Matt90541 but yes that was a very iffy call 🤣🤣
Daboll was indeed the 22’ coach of the year.
LOL Well that will look nice on his resume.' He'll be working on that in a couple months.
If daboll is fired then schoen deserves to walk out the door hand in hand with him
Terry is a vertical threat.
When you are throwing 5 yard passes, the interceptions should be low.
That's not true. You never played football?
Tell That to bo nix
Nabers is a super star.
As a 12 i love bobby we should have him with Dodson but im glad he's still balling out in DC
I really want the giants to trade for Bryce young
It is painfully obvious that these two fools did not watch this game and are simply looking at the end of game stats. The Giants defense didn’t do shit in the red zone. Washington shot themselves in the foot six times.
People will look at this analysis and use it as proof why nobody should take PFF as a form of authority. How do you say St Juste is "struggling" when he was the best DB that game with 3 PBUs and a FF. They eventually stopped throwing to his side of the field.
Either PFF needs to pay attention to the games they watch or they need more help because this is egregious
No Frankie Luvu???????
Stop with the Brian Daboll propaganda. Year one, Daboll was fantastic. Last year he was absolutely atrocious; coached the Giants out of at least 3 wins. He was brought in to develop Jones and Jones has gotten dramatically worse. He hired his buddy as the offense line coach last year, and the Giants had historically bad protection. From last year until now, they have been unprepared on all sides of the ball game in and game out. He’s the head coach and has not improved a single aspect of this team (along with Joe Schoen). They’re actually getting worse. Kevin O’Connell is winning with Sam Darnold; Mike Tomlin is competitive no matter who’s at QB; Jerrod Mayo is competitive in New England…
Josh Allen has been a top 3 qb since Daboll left, and the Bills are still a very respectable team. Side note: I’m ready to get rid of Jones. But this team as a whole is hard to watch, not just Jones.
If we had a kicker we would have won the game period. Fumble too this is crazy.
If Washington needed to go for it on any one of those 7 kicks because they were behind, you really think there's no chance they would've converted? Washington was allowed to be conservative because the Giants couldn't put up points. And if your HC doesn't bring a second kicker when yours is injured... that's not the only time he's going to do something dumb to lose you a game. It's just the most obvious one to people outside of the building.
If we scored atleast 2 TDs out of 6 drives its a 35-18 blowout 🤷🏽♂️
If... 🙄
@hillsidecris1467 naw bro it would be 29-18 because since we actually put up 3 every drive 2 TDs would only give us 8 more points
@@hillsidecris1467naw bro it would be 29-18 because since we actually put up 3 each drive, scoring 2 TDs would only add 8 more points
In what world does Burns warrant an 80.2? Make believe statistics
I assume pressures… idk. He isn’t paid to get pressures he’s paid to sack the qb and make a difference.
Explain to me how Robinson has over 130 yards and his grade is a 68 man wtf 🤣
Brian Robinson was 17 for 133 and had a long of 40 - how is he graded so low?
Wagner isn't that good in coverage anymore, stop with the glazing.
The Giants are higher but lost. The disrespect BRob should be way higher 17 for 138 is something
Washington had 10 penalties, and most of em ended up in the red zone. They made it to the red zone 5 times and EVERY ONE of them reaulted in a dumb penalty on 3rd down forced them to kick.
It is what it is, but dont act like they didnt shoot themselves in the foot as much as the Giants just suck.
Washington should of won by 2 or more TD's
The play that Pinnock got the ball ripped out of his hands by Ertz was not a turnover worthy play?
No. The ball hit Ertz's hands first.
The Giants are tanking for Arch Manning next season
Bobby Wagner is good vs run mid everywhere else lol did they watch the game.
how is brian robinson rated so low, and JD below caleb williams??
These guys have zero clue. They don’t watch any film on this.
Imagine Nabers with Jayden. Yeesh
As an SEC fan, yeah, including Brian Thomas, the other guy drafted in round 1
We had penalties
Wasn't bc of bad offense
Wagner didn’t do shit
What an awful show. They clearly dont watch these games. It's just 2 analytical robots
