One thing I'm curious about regarding brake ducts : I've only ever seen front brakes with some form of cooling, have you ever ran into a situation where rear brakes would overheat before the fronts ?
Not on the NA/NB. There are weight savings to be had but even at 400whp time attack and 40 minute races, we used factory rear Sport Brakes with no ducts. No rear overheating. I suppose its's possible to overheat, just not something we ever experienced.
@949RacingSuperMiata sorry i probably should provide a little context the dp6 I'm using was originally used on 2018 nd miata with stock brakes. What I'm trying to do is adapt them to an 99 nb with nd rotors. And I believe the wilwood dp6 and dynalite caliper your using share the same 5.25 lug mount pattern. So wouldn't it theoretically be able to fit if your bracket positions the caliper over the nd rotor?
Will the box mount brackets alone work if I have a Wilwood 11” brake kit installed? I would be interested in just the mount to take advantage of the ducting benefits.
You would need our entire kit including rotors, but with caliper delete option if you have 5.25" lug mount .810 Dynalites already. Rotor offset is different than any other BBK. Contact us directly for more details.
Does the 11 inch one fit the stock wheels on a 93 na miata? I dont know exactly how the wheel sizes work haha, just know they are stock wheels for now...
Proprietary rotors made in the US for Supermiata, available on our website. We chose 1.1 to clear most 15x9 wheels without spacers and still use the giant 7420 pad

A 13" Boxmount kit for the 86 Is on our list but might be another year before we have it ready to ship.
Also could have sworn I saw something about xida coils for those 86s coming soon

We are working on bringing wheels back into production but no ETA.

Sorry, no. BX11 pad volume is 2.1, DP6 is 2.4. BX1175 volume is 4.9

11" brakes will not fit inside a 14" wheel, sorry. You will need at least 15x7. Most 15x8 clear with room to spare.
What manufacturers offer rotors that are compatible with this kit? I could not find AP Racing or Performance Friction in size 11.75 x 1.1.

No plans for an ND kit this year. Possibly a 12.19 x1.1 rotor ND kit for 2023.
