it's honestly the most common one, even if you have the worst honor it just depends on that one mission from straus if you take people's money or allow them to go that's what influences the good or bad ending but everyone usually goes for letting people go off from their debts

Me and my pops cried like some mitches. My dad grew up on westerns so I bought the game thinking of him. Happy I beat it before he passed away fr. One of my favorite moments with him was this whole game and everything in it.
This hits hard. I just played this game for the first time a few months ago and beat it. My dad was a HUGE western fan but he died 3 years ago. I was crying for Morgan and I was crying for my dad. My father left this world with the HIGHEST honor. Such a wonderful man and I wish so hard I could have shared this game with him.

I played this game with my dad too (or rather, I played it, then had him play it) I’m a big baby and cry about as much as my momma, him not so much, but I’m sure the story hit him. We’re still on the epilogue, very slow progress and I haven’t asked him to play in a while.
I love this thread. I lived a few hours a way from my dad when this came out. The entire playthrough I kept thinking about how I could convince my dad to either play it, watch me play it, or at least just watch a cutscene/movie mashup. He loved westerns and tv was his nightly ritual, so we watched probably 2-3 a week on average, but he also happened to be old-fashioned enough to dislike video games and think they were a waste of time. But every once in awhile (like wii pool/billiards for some reason) I could gradually break that barrier. He passed in 2019 before I ever got the chance to even really talk to him about the game, and because of that I will never fail to get emotional for the ending. This game and its story were already lifechanging for so many people but I think it came the the perfect time for a lot of fans.

But the ending hits alot harder when you take your time to play the game and have no idea whats coming. He finished it in a couple of days or so. It took me more than a month and damn did that ending hit

@@Kayami771 that's unrealistic monsters and shit, yes it's a good game but a game like rdr2 is real with emotions, you can connect to the character, it's an amazing story game. another good story example is the uncharted series. elden ring won't have you remembering a character like you knew him in real life crying at his death.
Dark souls, Bloodborne, Alan wake 2. They out there but it’s hard to match up against RDR

Man, why you gotta bring back the pain it caused to see Arthur get sick and deteriorate. Low-key it's what happened to my mother before she passed in 2021. It'll never get easy seeing even a fictional character (amazing graphics though lol) that I grew to love, just deteriorate until they can't live any longer. Arthur was a great written character. Made me hate John for being useless a bit.

Same thing happened with my dad. 3 years after stage 4 cancer he passed. Watching his body wilt away was one of the most painful experiences of my life. Dude was such a stud when healthy. Rip to your mom brother
@@JC-hq7iu my father just died all of a sudden. I don't know how the fuck. Its been 4 yrs. He was completely fine, and was strong af, and he just disappeared 2 hrs later(died). I will never forget that shock I received in my life. When I played RDR2 it gave me another shock and I was in depression for 2-3 weeks. I will make sure to take care of myself from now on. I have to take care of my mom and brother.
