I love your low tech solution. If there is no rain there is nothing better than sleeping out in the open provided you are comfortable, warm and protected from bugs.
Really a great build. I’m taking notes. One thing though. The indentions on the inside of the truck bed are for 2x4 supports. Using these would lighten the load of wood used. Thank you for making this video. 🤙🏽
Super sick video ! I want to do something similar with my truck. I don't have those holes in the truck where the PVC pipes go! Anyone have any suggestions for how I can get around that?
Cool idea Austin I'm watching from UK, we would definitely need the tarp plus sleeping bags 😂
Nice job. Your platform built was a very simply build and seemed cost effective.
Awesome build, really like the plywood floor with bracing bro!
Great idea. Worked out well it looks like.

Awsome affordable compact camper idea
That would work with my 1964 Ford F250. This is very impressive in its simplicity.
If only I had a truck
Awesome idea! 🙌🏼
Thanks for sharing
AHH drinking beer while using power tools a man after my own heart. makes building more enjoyable.
Thanks for the idea! Nicely done video 😁
Bro knocked this out of the park

Floor flange,pvc
You could run pipe to ground also
I would have clamped the tarp over the pvc for rain protection and then simply put up a regular tent on the platform.
The truck bed has slots in it for two by fours going both ways from the factory and then you just stick a piece of plywood on top
There are truck bed tents.
Corona beer was okay, but then White Claw.... smh jk Drink the beverage of your choice. P.S. I like your idea of the truck bed tent.
You can buy tents that fit on a truck bed
Very inspiration
Whats the measurement of the mosquito tent? I want it!!
A for effort.
What size pvc pipe did you use ? 1/4 or one inch in diameter pipe 🤔
What was your out of pocket cost?
