I'd like to comment on each one in the band and they're growing abilities at their instrument. Each one of them has the ability to do some solo ownership of their own craft of music and they are doing well

Papa, well said. We got to know them as kids who grew up loving metal and who figured out early that they could do killer covers of it. That made a ton of 60 year olds like me fall in love with them, but they're at a point where they're discovering who they are as their own artists, not as metal clones. I love the new looks, and the covers from the likes of the White Stripes and Nirvana, and the evolution of their sound on the original tracks. Carousel is a departure, but it still has most of the classic Liliac in it. Aby is still a star thrashing on that kit, Mel is still THE VOICE (sorry NBC, but not sorry), Sam's showing some new tricks on the guitar that are just as awesome as the old ones, Ethan is starting to kill it on bass, and seeing Justin with a keytar so he's mobile now and can get out front and interact with the crowd is going to be an epic move. The look is fresh, the sound is fresh, the video and sound tech just keep getting better... and every bit of it is still Liliac. Call it Liliac 2.0, an invitation to the younger generations to get the heck on board (and maybe get an appreciation for what came before while they're at it).
After that I liked the long black hair. It fits her better. More Gothic more badass. I still like the red but I was disappointed when I saw did everybody shave their heads basically.
A part from KISS, what band never changed their looks and styles over time? Come on people! You don't own or control them. Give them the room to grow.
