Do you know if there’s a way to get your headset working through an Xbox one controller, once it’s paired to a switch?
I wish there was a way, That would be great! But unfortunately the Nintendo switch doesn't have a Voice Chat feature built in, the only way to use Voice chat (w/ specific games) is only through the Nintendo Switch Online Application which you can find in the Apple App Store, Or Google's Play Store.

It pairs but won't appear on the change controller screen.
It's an Xbox1 1708 model, it connects to the laptop and I've updated to the latest firmware.
The 8BitDo has been updated to the latest firmware. Pro Controller Wired Communication is on.
They pair, lights turn solid, pad vibrates, pad vibrates when the power on the switch comes on.
I've gone through the setup multiple times and restarted the Switch.
It will not appear as another controller.
Any ideas?
Did you update your controller via xbox controller update or through windows? And the 8bitdo is in version 1.3.x correct?
