The most maddening thing in watching reviews of this product online is when people doing the review are doing the exercises they usually let slack into the band. Also, the “one week review” thing is weak. Do the whole program for 12 weeks....as written....with attention to detail....THEN review it. Drives me crazy.
Doctor Jaquish, i'm approaching your method, just one question about exercises selection. In the pull split why is that any vertical pull movement (pull ups-chin ups) is not contemplated? Many thanks.
What about unrelated exercises.....not using the X3. Walking 3 or 4 miles once or twice a day. Throwing a medicine ball. Doing a forearm circuit. Doing a boxing circuit on a heavy bag. Outside of walking, working these other things in once or twice a week. Any thoughts on these?
Is the single leg split squat safe since the band is not under a plate? I was wondering how safe it is, since you mention that using bands without the plate is not very safe.
Dr. J., would gently bouncing on a rebounder while doing let’s say chest press, tricep push down have a similar benefit to using a vibration plate if done in a safe way when one is very used to those exercises and bands are secure?
No. The GH Accelerator is specially made to always be running at 30hz, never above or below that metric. You don’t need to use a higher vibration; it will work against what you are trying to do. According to studies, the most optimal settings for muscle activation shows that 25-45hz are best. Most research supports that 30hz is ideal. Therefore, you can rely on our equipment to give you what is needed during your workout at all times.
Thank you! I really appreciate you taking time to answer our questions. Love X3. Always hated weights and never enjoyed using them. You are helping so many people.
In another video, Dr. Jaquish brought up a point someone made about the overhead press having less force variance. He seemed to imply that doing this exercise from the knees could work, but he did not commit to it. This would help me as I have limited space overhead where I do the workouts. Would doing this on the knees, on a pad, be very detrimental or acceptable?
I’ve been thinking about a question to ask for a while since I’ve been using the bands. What are your thoughts on doing a set of Isometric hold add peak force output for 30 seconds. And or, where does isometric movement fit into the strength building paradigm?
Its been tried, with little to no result as it denies hypoxia and sarcoplasmic stimulation. Mostly people got lazy and were cheating themselves by locking out, but they kept thinking they were doing better because their reps and holds would go up. We recommend against this. Follow the program.
I have an idea that's not bad!...try to get professional and collegiate strength and conditioning trainers on board.Could you imagine the weight room at let's say Nebraska, completely empty except for 50 or 60 x3 bar stations?...I can!...I wish I had this in high school and college when I was hurting myself lifting weights for football. This could change the whole game, but you gotta start asap because people like being stupid and narrow minded.Lots of work to do but I know you guys will do it.

They probably voted for Biden
I use a weight plate to stand on and that works fine 🙂

Just be sure you’re doing it how it’s demonstrated in the video and you’re fine.

Combine X3 with the SOLOFLEX System
Don Anspach And get worst results
SoloFlex was good technology for its time since it included the foundational principles of variable resistance, but X3 is leaps and bounds beyond it.

Thank you for the fast response , I was classically trained as a PT and have to undo allot of what I was trained and thought in schooling .thanks

Roger Carter You know we already have 10+ NFL players and the entire Miami Heat basketball team using the product right?
@@JaquishBiomedical I knew about all the individual athletes but didn't know about the Heat..Fantastic!
Can you use an Arm Blaster with the curl exercise? Will that accelerate the growth process?
You could, but they do not accelerate growth. Its not the natural firing pattern.

I just want to build lean muscles and not bigger muscles!
