If you go at this with gusto with the most challenging band that you can work with, you will be bent over huffing and puffing with almost every exercise. In particular, if you can do 40 regular Squats of the Elite orange band, it definitely feels like running a up a hill. It is a fantastic workout, however, I would suggest this approach: A gentle stretching and loosening up protocol first, followed by 10 minutes of rebounding, mostly for the lymph node release, but it's also fun and releases feel-good endorphins. Then, you are mentally alert , the blood is flowing and you can really throw yourself into the X3. Try to cut down the time in between each exercise you perform. When you are done, dry bush and take a cold 2 minute shower.
It’s kind of funny watching all these videos... I’ve read numerous comment sections talking about how uneducated this guy is and that he’s an ass... Lol, I can see why some people might feel that way. But really, they’re in their feelings that he’s talking science backed facts. And he’s clearly very confident in his product and system. And there’s clearly a lot of flawed science out there that he kind of talks shit about. I find that hilarious lol I heard about this system while listening to the Boundless audiobook and I placed my order today. I’m a thin guy and honestly I’m over the gym BS. I’m really looking forward to working out with the X3. 95% of actual owner comments say this thing is absolutely the real deal!
@@JaquishBiomedical I'm in the military as well and we run. It's just part of our culture, but I want to ensure I keep up with my troops and I'm concerned not running at all could cause me to fall behind on group runs that are every few months. Will running 20-30 minutes a few times a week be detrimental?
@@MD3TP5 I know this is late but you should still run. In the beginning of the video he stated that if you want to distance run the need to train to distance run. The runs we did when I was in the Marine Corps or longer so I would need to train for that. Yours are the same the group runs are probably a little bit longer so you should train for that.
Cardio machines are expensive and big ticket items. Profit for the companies that sell them and big box gyms that provide use. Why would they push something that would lose them money?
What is the threshold where just moving becomes "Cardio" or problematic. This is relevant because we don't want people to be sedentary trying to preserve muscle or avoiding cortisol.
After doing push day today on X3 and finishing off with split leg squats, then full squat my cardio-vascular system was well worked out, like I'd been sprinting hard up a hill.
I like x3, but this is nothing like sprinting up a hill. X3 combined with your favorite cardio is perfect, be it sprinting, swimming, martial arts, jump rope, etc.
@@mryoyo1234 Oh yes it's important to keep active generally. I play tennis and still sprint up 130 steps, three lots of that will wipe me out. At 56 I get some strange looks 😂
What do you think about doing a HIIT session in the 7 am mornings like I usually do, and then my usual X3 routine at night,. Should i drop the HIIT? I really like HIIT and it has made me so much stronger
Does X.3 produce the same cardiovascular benefits as traditional cardio? I mean is there an expected drop in resting heart rate and /or blood pressure using this type of training?
I know this isn’t specific to the cardio explanation, but what type of warm up is suggested for the X-3 since it doesn’t talk about that anywhere ? Or can you just jump in “ cold “ ? Thx
What if you are train for a specific sport? For example I play water polo and choose the X3 to build my strength and of course swim as well. My swimming is all interval-time based not steady state. Are these complementary or conflicting
I do maybe one HIIT session a week, bu used to do much more. But at 63 I have to work out smart and see how many sessions I can cram in. X3 has everything covered anyway and I need the 48 hours off to recover. It feels great to not have to grind it out six days a week anymore.
What are your thoughts about walking for 30 minutes to an hour daily? Will that negatively impact your ability to gain muscle? BTW X3 is a killer and I’m dropping my weight room in my house to put this to the test. Thanks
Can I do 10 mins jogging on the treadmill right after my 10 mins of X3 strength training? My goal is to increase my stamina and also increase my strength.

Agree 110%.....
These videos are great. Please keep it up. Just started wk1. Thanks!

Exactly. Those who talked shit are stuck in their old ways and have cognitive dissonance without ever looking deep into what this dude says.
Explained very well, thanks!
Thanks! I still need to run tho because I’m in the military!
But the purpose of the military is not to make people lean. That’s the point of the observation in clinical literature

@@DanTejedaFit So I shouldn't run at all? Or just less than 20 minutes?

You can run outside though. If you learn barefoot running, you won't need an expensive shoe either (and will have stronger and healthier feet).

Whatever happen to the tutorial guide with the video instructions I was told the system went down is it back up after a year ?
You can find the training program on our website!

How about HIIT? Sled pushes/sprints?
Great question! HIIT is not sustained cardio. Sprints are Dr. J's other favorite exercises, though he hasn't done them in years.

Users are free to go on walks and participate in other activities, we recommend avoiding steady state cardio that would raise cortisol levels.
love it!

You could, but for what reason?
Would sprints be beneficial for fat loss? If so how often and how many sets should I do? Ty
Yes, if you're healthy enough to actually sprint because with sprinting there is a high injury rate that is why I choose not to.
Running hill sprints work so much better and with running a hill it cuts down on injuries compared to running on flat ground
What after completion of 12 week program?
Once you've completed the first 12 weeks you'll have all the knowledge necessary to keep using the X3 indefinitely!
How about daily walks?
You are still free to participate in those activities!
