The secret to Nova is you have to eat the whole pack of it even if you're not tasting anything at first or a couple of bites, later the taste will develop in your tongue and you'll soon realize that you're starting to crave for it. 🤣
Yes!!! I was actually saying this while watching them eat Nova 😂
@@melai7459 Ong yasss
This is so meeee hahaha
Fr!!!
True hahaha. Masarap kumain ng Nova pag nag mmodule lmao
It was so good to have Philippine snack!! It turns out i ate lot of philippine snacks such as Pillows and kid-O and PIATTOS!! And after filming this episode, i finished sweet corn snack HAHA😁 Overall, philippine snacks are tasty :)
Thanks for appreciating our local products!
Plus they are relatively affordable!
How about cheese ring :(?
Please do filipino spicy challenge next time!
Sweet corn snack is my favorite!
I'm waiting for the philippine streetfood edition. Kwek-kwek, isaw, adidas calamaris etc. :)
Don't try it it's so unhealthy they use recycled oil and use it again the next day🤢🤮
@@pasta... k its still good tho
@@pasta... yes it may be unhealthy but it tastes good and it's a part of our culture 😁 also i believe that the more that we eat it we acquire a stronger stomach(?) and don't get easily sick lmao
@@pasta... we reuse cooking oil only if it still looks good. The max times we reuse oil (in my household) is 4 if it's used for cooking snacks like prawn crackers and fries. 2 for actual viand that has the least taste like eggs, fried chicken, and pork. Only 1 time for fried fish since it smells. Streetfoods don't have that much taste if you eat it alone, that's why we always have sauces to go for it.
It is unhealthy because of all the oil, true, but we don't eat it on a daily basis. You make it seem like it's the unhealthiest food ever when other people consume tons of chips and other unhealthy junk food on a daily basis.
@@pasta... you don't recycle oil🤨
Nova is my favorite out of these, initially it’s not as stimulating as others but once you eat it repeatedly, you get the perfect balance. Not too cheesy and salty so it doesn’t leave a bad taste and it leaves you craving for more, plus I love the texture of the grains, it’s the healthiest of the choices.
Can I just take a moment to compliment Jessica? Cause she's just so so so pretty!! And I love her personality.
Thank you so much Jessica for introducing filipino foods on this platform. It makes many Filipinos appreciate their culture more
“it taste so unhealthy”
rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, it's good!
i just can't 😭😭😭
I mean he's got a point right? Most unhealthy foods really taste good and most of the healthy foods are.... You know.
@@cshuffler232 I said most. Not all.

trivia for you: the cracklings were originally meant to be eaten with beer.
The more you know am i right?
Even tho cracklings is my favorite I didn't know that.... Also I can't drink since I'm still a minor but I will try that when I'm in 20's or something...
Yeah its beer match
Hahhahaha
@@1800-CJ Yes The more u know
The girl who picks cracklings is a legend
True
Used to hate it but now I crave for it more than all chips on the list.
Cracklings are spicy tho
@@trhasher_t2856 wtf its not even spicy, your tongue is weak asf
@@shad8677 its kinda spicy because of the vinegar its like a 1cm sun burn
Nova was promoted as a healthy snack and it is really stomach filling than Piattos that often ask for another pack. Crackling came out first before Marty's or Mang Juan.. and Clover Chips is practically the great grandfather (Sweet Corn is the grandfather) of those snacks bcos it has been in the market as far as I remember and you cant just buy that as a kid bcos its expensive and understandbly tastes like American snacks. And Jack n' Jill can never go wrong making those 'snacks' -- they practically invented it in Phils.
I like the girl who picked Cracklings at the end, she seems so positive and I love how she rated everything 4-5 stars hahaha
Thank you ate Jessica for introducing them Filipino snacks 💕💕
I love these videos. As an American married to a Filipino wife I get to enjoy these foods. We live near Los Angeles so there are many Filipino and Korean restaurants and markets. We have also been to Baguio in the Philippines. I have been going the other way and enjoying more Korean foods. When we went to the Philippines we flew on Korean Airlines and I was introduced to Biminbop 💖.
Luckily LA is so diverse we have lots of restaurants for every culture. We have a huge Seafood City (Filipino supermarket) nearby and tonight I made my first visit to a close Korean supermarket on my way home from work. I had a long list and got almost everything I was looking for. I just bought a Korean tabletop BBQ so I can cook it up right. Yes I was the only white guy in the market 🧒.

It was so cool how the guys and Jessica were able to switch between English and Korean so effortlessly. I'm studying Korean now and I hope to get to that level one day!
Piatos & Nova is the most expensive ( not that expensive, base only on snacks) in our school canteen hahahaha
Piatos, Nova and clover are my favorite
Lol bcoz it wasn't pinoY snacks... yan yung snacks ng American Kaya Mahal. Branded frm other country .
Same here they're my fav too HEHE sml
Cheez it also masarap din lalo na yung spicy at Potato Fries yung color red.
@@Lunafreya_Nox it is a Pinoy snack not an American , piattos and nova is originally from Philippines , manufactured by Philippines ( Urc) and infact Philippines is the who exports the food not americans
I also like Piattos and Nova but I like Piattos Sour creme Onion flavor
I can't accept some of their reaction on cracklings haha it does taste good! That was my fave since childhood, I even buy cracklings for me to eat in our recess in our school 😆❤
Most Koreans don't like salty and sour foods because for them it's unhealthy and exotic. Some Filipino foods for them like Adobo is too salty and Sinigang is too sour for their tastes, Cracklings is not an exception, its both salty and sour.
@@rexgeorgerodriguez7620 ohh, I see.. Thank you! ❤
Maybe because they just eat a little cracklings is much more addicting if you taste a lot or for other reason they don't like the taste hehe
korean wasnt into salty and sour type of food cuz they are into spicy.
It's an acquired taste. I remember when I was younger I felt like my tongue was cracking from the sourness
I'm half Filipino from America, and my favorite Filipino snacks are Boy Bawang and Nagaraya cracker nuts.
For me you need to eat the whole package to appreciate the flavor of the snacks but since its a review its understandable. Some of the Filipino snacks actually tastes better when you're halfway of eating it (especially clover and cracklings). It's addictive without knowing. I'm a Filipino btw and I eat snacks weekly (not everyday) especially clover as a get-go.
You can't really eat a whole pack in the Philippines, cause everyone's hands will be in your food the second you open it LMAO

Interesting Jessica Lee is Here 😍She knows about Philippines and a good pick up for this channel to teach about what they eat. Because she lives here since she was 9 years old.
Suggestions. Let them try all piatos variants! I love nacho pizza the most! Let them try the P1 snacks that's the most classic snacks you've ever tasted here. Like vinegar pusit, lechon manok, tattoos etc 🤣
I would love to see their reactions
Actually here in the Philippines we used to eat those chips with beer or gin and we considered it as "pulutan". Like to decrease the bitterness of beer and gin due to tasty tsitsirya.
I mean ya as a picky kid and not a fan of sour flavored food cracklings really is neglected but as I grow up it’s definitely my taste now. Cheese ring and clover are still my faves but crackling is my ult fave.
Among these snacks, Cracklings is my fave💗 Too bad there's no Marty's Cracklin' spicy vinegar flavor, I wanna see their reaction trying it.😆🔥 It is also my fave and the smell and flavor is really strong.
The SweetCorn are my favorite snacks in my elementary days then Piatos and clover are my Favorite break time snacks during high school.👍
ako den
Yep also pillows lol
The guy in the middle legit looks like a Manhwa character, I'm glad they liked Cracklings and Piattos, OG snacks, brings me back to my childhood.
You guys should have included "Moby" (Chocolate & Salted Caramel Flavor), Ri-Chee (Milk Flavored Snack), Tomi (Sweet Corn Chips) and Snacku (Vegetable flavored Rice crackers). These are as popular as the snacks mentioned in this video and it may have given a more variety of flavor. 💕
By the way, is the guy who chew like a goat and the girl with long hair siblings? They have almost the same sentiments. ☺️
Jessica's world lit up when Jiyoon declared that her favorite was Cracklings too 🤧
Vinegar flavor snacks comes together with Ice Cold Beer. San Miguel Pale Pilsen (for me) lol
I'm from the Philippines, and I'm grateful that your videos have helped to make Filipino cuisine more well-known. Eonnie, I adore you. ❤️
the lady with a green sweater resembles my two ultimate South Korean Actress Shin Min-Ah and Park Shin-Hye.. 😍😍😍
If they will make this kind of content, there should be oishi prawn crackers (the packing color is orange) the Marty's Cracklings, Chicharon ni Mang Juan, Chiz it, and the Cheesy (neither of the two flavor) I think they will love it. There are lots of traditional chips you can find and try when you will visit our beloved country, the Philippines.
Literally my rating for all those snacks would be 5 stars lol they’re just soooo good!😋
I know a Korean student who was so into Rebisco peanut butter sandwich that he brought a whole grocery box of it back to Korea after he finished school.
Jiyoon is really genuinely cute. Once she start her own youtube channel, i'll subscribe right away!💋

Fun Fact: Jack n Jill corp. is owned by John Gokongwei of Philippines. U should be proud of ur Food Industry Ph.
U also have regent famous for cupcakes cakes etc, and ur soap shampoo/conditioner companies. Not just fruit producing country. PH has a large variety of foods and flavors down to diff products in the grocery. My fav is clover and vinegar pusit.
Quick tip: If you are wrighting an essay long comment, please use the word "you" instead of "u" because it just breaks the atmosphere of the essay.
I really love suhyun's reaction to our favorite Filipino's snacks it's so accurated and Honest HAHAAH
Aww 😍 I like Jinyoon genuine reactions to the snacks. Also, she's so cute especially when she's smiling. ^^
Ah yes! Thank you for including cheese ring and clover chips! I eat many of these 2 chips!
i knew the feeling of the cracklings the taste is so strong but at the same time its addicting but u want to stop eating it but make u want to eat more and the taste stay in ur mind like forever
I have a korean neighbor before she doesn't like the cracklings and i said try pair with beer and then she love it🥰
finally some chips that are commonly found and are popular in PH. Some int vloggers feature chips that i dont even know that it exists in our country lmao. Well done jessica!
One of the classic chip snack in the Philippines that I love is "pee wee" & also "La La fish cracker"...

The way u spoke "Chicharon Ni Mang Juan" i love it 😀

Crackings is the best for me. You can eat it with rice too. You can serve that with some drinks. The smell may be that bad for others, but I really love vinegary stuff like this. ❤️
Piatros is an all-time favorite snack in the Philippines. But my top 5 of the snack chips are Piattos Cheese, Pillows Chocolate and Boy Bawang, Shrimp kropek, and the Garlic Nagaraya.
Cho Suhyun guy is hard to please ...but the way i look at him eating the snacks he's enjoying it. 😆😆😆
Should have gond with Clover Batbeque Flavor, Chippy and V-Cut original bbq. Vcut is now being sold at our local shops here in Sydney. Part 2 pls for more content
I don't really crave Pillows (the snack) but I used to snap them in half with my teeth then lick the amazing rich chocolate inside and eat the other piece

My favorite snack is literally Nova, my go-to snack whenever i see it in a sari sari store and i always ask my mother or my grandmother to buy for me everytime she goes to a supermarket or outside i still do it to this day haha
I remember taking a college entrance exam test that lasted for at least 4 hours. So we have a 15 minutes break to eat and one examinee opened a pack of cracklings.
The smell was so pungently distracting that we have to air out the room for a couple of minutes. 😆
y’all should try cracklings + rice combination 😁

Cheese Ring used to have a puffy and softer texture and consistent shape. But as the prices have gone up over the years, the quality has lessened. I used to put the rings on my fingers then eat the rings from it.
