Hey nice tutorial and this trick is very usefull specially when adding landscape elements like plants. i would like to add that if you import the sketchup file inside a family you can then schedule the imported geometry using the host family type.

Hi sir! I have some question and need you help me to answers: if you link cad furniture directly to the project, so when rendering by enscape, the materials of the item you just linked will it stay the same as sketchup, or do you have to go the family and apply every material to every component? I need keep all the materials, but not apply every material for the component. Looking forward to the answer! Thank you!

To change colors SketchUp model in Revit]
      In SketchUp :
Don't apply materials by paint tool.
Materials should be applied as layers of the model. You can use "Color by layer" to work easier.
      Disable "Color by layer" mode.
Save in filetype version under SketchUp 8.
      In Revit:
      Create a new family.
Import the SketchUp model by "Import CAD"
      Load into project.
In project, VV → object styles → Imported category → apply Revit materials at each layer created in SketchUp.
This worked fine to me, hope you guys the same.

R Salem you need to assign material by layer on sketchup, then in revit asign those layer to the materials you want. It can take a long time if the original file has materials asigned to it so its better to model your own sketchup stuff then import.
