Thank you for an excellent presentation!! I'm traveling to a convention and arranged for a rental of this scooter. Will use your excellent video for disassembling and reassembling into and out of my vehicle. Excellent instructions and demo!!!!
Scooters and others like these are light for big abled men, but if disabled like I am two pounds of sugar is heavy, I have found that the seat for me is the most awkward as you twist and turn and try pull at same time, I rely on other to help in doing this as with battery box which is a heavy component in itself.I am referring to all scooters not just this one
Excellent review thanks! Ordering this in morning so I can take my 2 kids to Light Water Valley theme park. The kids are going to want Mummy's new toy, but its all mine! Thanks again for great demo :-)
Had mine a while now and very pleased. I bought it reconditioned and did not have the full manual. I've found out how it works by these yt clips. However still no idea what the yellow leaves is for.???Any advice please.
Presume you mean yellow lever at back. It is to lock or unlock the wheels to put into freewheel or lock. go online and download a user manual if you don't have one.
Good review. By now I hope the small wheels would have been upgraded to bigger wheels to give it a higher ground clearance. Nobody likes the scooter to look like a baby pram or trolley.
my older pride gogo traveller elite has new batteries and you can run for hours and they are still good. but get on a steep grade or hill and it becomes such a load that the circuit breaker shuts down the whole scooter and we have to reach down and reset it, and walk the scooter up the hill. very discouraging. what can i do to solve this..thanks
after 3-5 yrs? Best Buy a New One- It will cost $500-$1,000 to fix your old one .. Ck it out..And get a Next Heavier Model with More Power and can handle 300-350 lbs.. I charge mine and pay it off in 3 yrs and then sell it for $500 and buy a New One and finance it again.. They have Planned Repairs built into them Don't get Suckered into that..
Why hasn't yet anyone designed a mobility scooter for the disabled? Wheelchairs are also so impractical, dangerous, and have poor steering joysticks. The main type of machine the disabled need are: 1. A scooter that can fit into the back if a mnivan so it can be used with or without an inside car lift. (Even walkers are impractical now because many seniors can't lift them and no pully for them has ever been invented). Most disabled people can't bend or lift much of anything. 2. A scooter that is very light weight, meaning lithium batteries might help. 3. A scooter with a solid high and secure back that turns so people can eat in their own seat in restaurants ie be comfortable even watching movies in it. 4. A scooter that has zero turn capabilities and is slim enough to fit into small doctor's offices, small store aisles, and inside of home. 5, A scooter that goes fast enough that the elderly can escape from harm if pursued - at least 7 km. 6. A scooter with higher flexible airless lightweight wheels like they are now trying out on the market - wheels like those on lunar landing vehicles that bend easily and won't go flat. 7. A scooter that is higher up from the ground and where even hand controlled electrical components are protected from moisture. 8. A scooter with plenty of room or available parts that will allow for more storage. Handicapoed people often can't shop daily so many would like to be able to pick up more. (Noticed that some scooters now have an area where the feet can be put up higher so that the normal foot area alone can be used to transport a couple of bags.) Small ledges on the side of the footboard would also be handy so things don't fall out. 9. A scooter with a folding seat and steering column it easier to put into car without disassembling. 10. Accessories: A scooter that a light 2 wheeled push cart (pref. transparent to make store security guards more comfortabke) can be attached to the front. Also a food tray that can be attached to so people can get their own food at a buffet dinner. Pride is certainly trying and is getting better than many others, but not many others are. So far, the best scooter I have used to date is the Travel Scoot, with many very good accessories including a converter to 2 passengers so a seated assistant can travel with the disabled person. Wish they had more accessory seat back choices though for those with broken backs. It can be put into a car easily becauuse the heavy duty version weighs only 45 pounds but if the trunk isn't high enough just the back portion of the seat can be pulled off. It's the buttons to push to remove it though that can be difficult to push in. That scooter doesn't have to be assembled or disassembled in any other way except for the 3 lb or so back part of the seat, unless you have a very small car trunk. Love this scooter but would like a heavier seat version to make it more comfortable to sit in after a couple of hours, and that's where I'm hoping Pride will go, because that company has more repair dealers than most.
Hmm... I'm sure you feel much better getting all that off your chest, but if you are that disgusted with every scooter you've ever seen, perhaps you are the one that should invent something that fits all of your specifications. Your rather spoiled list of specs. might be what you would like, but please don't generalize that to "the disabled". You are apparently so short sighted that all disabled are the same as you. I would normally have just scrolled on by your comments except that I am highly insulted by your assessment of wheel chairs. Perhaps a wheel chair is not what you need, but please don't make generalizations about them. I frankly could not even believe I had just read what you said about them. Instead of erroneously downing something that is not for you, perhaps you should be thanking God that you are not in need of a wheelchair. Electric wheelchairs are designed for people who cannot use a scooter. All that being said, have a nice day.

our scooter just like this simply stopped in midstream of use and the green light is blinking...we have no idea why it stopped...we have tried everything we know to try
My go go scooter constantly breaks down. Its a horrible situation when traffic is all around you and it freezes up and wont start. Wont go 13 miles on one charge. Max three maybe. Read that scooters in general uses a 140 lb person to base their performance on. If heavier it will break even though it says 300lbs weight capacity
@@randallboscoe6926 I have the Victory 19.2 four wheel. $ 1800. Many scooters are now discounted by about 30 % It's top speed is 5.5 MPH. Walmart's scooters are 3 MPH I do 90% of my driving in Shopping locations. 4 mph is about the speed I do.

Someone gave me a gogo that looks like it was barley used. I put it in storage and never knew it could be broken down like that.
Got the Traveller lx version. When key is turned to on there is a constant horn noise. Done what it says in manual but to no avail.
Open the top up and disconnect the horn button.
@@joshuathomas544 Many Thanks. So maybe there is problem with the horn switch?

Most handicapped people can't lift or bend.
I would find that 4mph would not be fast enough in all circumstances.
6-8 MPH is much better for Parking lots and side walks.
Im 95kg and find the gogo fast enough in parking lots.
it gets up to top speed very quickly and 4 mph is pretty much a fast walking pace.
