Stop reading the practice test questions online and trying to memorize every one. Instead, that that time to read the questions, identify the nouns and verbs then apply those to what you have learned. Then read the answers. What I recommend is always identify the wrong answers first and throw them out immediately then reread the question with the answers that are left, replacing the question and making it a statement.
Spot on for the memorization part. I took the CISSP in May. Failed. But took all 150 questions out of the max of 150. Biggest eye opening thought I had walking away is I spent way too much time memorizing things that didn't matter and never needed on the test. I had access to a calculator during the test, but never had to use it. I do disagree with the OSI model, having that memorized did help me. I tried to memorize all the acronyms - complete waste. Take this advice, and don't do what I did and waste so much time memorizing acronyms and other things. Spend it knowing and understanding concepts. Please do keep in mind you might get a different test - this is my experience. On that note, time to start digging deeper into concepts and getting this exam done.
100 percent correct, I wasted all that time in memorizing and it wasn’t on the exam. Do the labs in official study book and then understand the critical thought behind it.
