$175 for a tow is NOT that expensive. Try California! It starts at $380 and that's a bargain. Once it gets to the tow yard there is a 24hr storage fee on top of everything else they can dream up.

You have way more patience than I do. Props to you and the officer. I've attended several wonderful concerts at Chastain. We know how horrible the parking is there and we choose to park in nearby public parking and take a taxi or Uber to the venue.
yea sometimes it is frustrating for him I am sure, but if you can get $100 in 10 minutes vs 45 minutes to load and get to the lot and unload for $175 (even $175 X 2) it can make sense to take the drop fee.....especially if you know that the word will spread and people will come running and move their cars while you are heading to the lot......$100s in the hand vs trips to the lot
