Organization is the key to success and happiness here.
Yeah not much trouble packing a big 4x4 like that but how about doing it with a smaller one like a 90 series Prado? We have great fun trying to get our gear into one of those :)
I've been using a hiking tent and a Thermarest mattress for years and can set up and pack down just as quick as my mates "rolling out a swag" (and I don't have to climb on my roof to get it, or destroy my back putting it back up).
A hiking tent is a 2-3kg (1/10th the weight of a swag) and about 60% smaller. Sure, after I set up my tent I have to inflate the mattress but that takes about 30 seconds. I could go down to a ultralight hiking mat but I treat myself to a bigger mattress that packs down to the same size as a standard sleeping bag. A quality hiking tents will hold up to much more severe weather than a swag ever will. It's just so logical I don't understand why swags are so popular.
Where are you putting the spare rear main and Puma 3.2 TDCi Duratorq?
Hi guys would you mind sharing information on the rear canopy. Thanks and love your videos 👍
Hey mate, it's an Amazon aluminium tub canopy
Putting recovery gear in drawers is a rookie error. It needs to be accessible from the outside of the vehicle, where you don’t have to open doors or tail gates to a access it.
What alloy canopy is that ?
