The best diffusor that doesnt lower your sound and the best upgrade you can do is have a block wall behind your speakers and stucco it heavily and stick your speakers close to the stuccoed block wall. Diffusors that lower your room volume will lower the imagimg, which is bad. Only the walls far away from your speakers you want the sound volume lowered. You want to hear vibrations from your speakers, not vibrations from far off in your room.

M, Nonsense. A stucco wall can never be a diffuser and room pressure needs to be balanced throughout the room.

I want to to calculate how much the noise will be reduced From 140 dB if it goes out side of concrete room ?
What will be the answer if it's steel ?
    Thanks in advanve

Finally there is somebody besides me on the science of sound. Could you make a video on sound reverberation. On t.v., there is a program that shows concerts in a cave. In my town our post office has thick solid smooth marble floors, walls and ceilings. One can hear a pin drop with the sound that travels so loud.So i am thinking that there should be some smooth surfaces in a room. I have a friend who put a short wall between his speakers. The stereo separation was better, this forced the right speaker to not play on the left side, and the left speaker not play on the right side. This made better separation of the instruments, better stereo effect. The wall also tricked the sub to play louder. I have noticed a sub can be better in a corner, and sometimes better directly behind a speaker at the wall. Sound material should be higher than speakers on the wall behind listener and some on the side walls. If you have one boat, there is one wave behind it. With 2 boats there is 2 waves hitting each other making a third or 3 waves. Three dimensional sound in the air, just like in water. I dont understand all this love of deep unclear bass in a room, Its the mids in small woofers, small speakers, small rooms, its the mids in tubes, and lps that stand out. I have a diffused brick wall I put my speakers close to, and for imaging on the wall behind and between my speakers I have a big smooth piece of glass. The bass is so strong in my room, a subwoofer has too much bass, its unneeded. Great room acoustics with sorry speakers is better than, great speakers in a sorry room.

Hi...Please explain for improvement of stc of metal and wooden doors.

S, Its all about density and construction methodology. Each material in the door must address the frequency and amplitude of the noise it is trying to stop.

All all about mass. Please no steel plate, transmisson speed very fast thru steel.

@@superconnie5003 You are missing the point. Density is only one part of the barrier equation. It is the manner in which barrier materials are arranged together. You can not take one material and comment on its effectiveness by itself.

@@AcousticFields it is probably foot steps, television, common speech,
snoring....Idk what frequency range could that be. I can hear my
neighbour snoring thru a 8in concrete ceiling as if there was no
ceiling. Both rooms are small 110x165x105in. Is that normal? what to do?
