I grew up Pentecostal. I’ve been telling people this for a long time . No one I know in that movement is a ready for that conversation.
Also I’d add that there are no records of modern glossalalia before 1901.which means this is a relatively new and false doctrine.
    Great video brother 🙏🏽

I have always wondered people who do speaking in tongues, or glossolalia, make it up as they go along? I remember seeing a youtuber ( can't remember who it was now) was teaching people how to do it. He started off doing bah bah bah then extending the words, to the babble I have heard in certain churches. I have seen on video in a church that is nearby me, people being baptised, then the pastor saying " Come on now, let it go" as if making them do it, and then they start the babble. It's what I've always thought, that speaking in tongues, means speaking in a known human language, not babble. I mean I've even seen the false preachers ( word of faith prosperity 'pastors') doing the same exact thing. Why do people do it? I could believe in tongues if I heard someone actually speaking a foreign language they never learned. I would really like to know why people do it in church. I sometimes wonder that they do it to seem 'more holy' than the other people in the church?

Wish I knew how you learned all of this. You must study the Bible a lot.

So if there is no proof of people speaking known languages without learning them, how can you know if that's what really happened in the Bible? Maybe they sat down and actually learned a foreign language for a month or two, and people thought it was miraculous.

At least studying languages and learning them can be proven.
But learning languages by Angel's demon's or God is not something you can prove.

There is proof of people doing this. It has become increasingly rare, yes, but there have been occurrences.

my brother Jeremiah ..but loook Acts is not a doctrinal book but ts eye witness account..Epistles are for doctrine..Paul clearly made a comment on Tongued thats ts a heavenly language..what happened in Acts as it is based on eye witness account was rather the interpretation of the tongues which was Prophecy..that Joel prophecy was fulfilled that man shall dream dreams and prophecy etc..And Paul calls that interpretation of tongues..prophecy..thats a background..

They will be prophesying and dreaming dreams in the last day's through the tribulation.. obviously that scripture isn't now sun isn't darkened ,pillars of smoke and fire. .. I don't have strong opinions on this subject because I don't understand it in full .. but it seems men have twisted the meaning of this scripture for sure .
