Nice work, Steve. The only thing I would add is Shopsmith users should get used to using the miter gauge in the right hand slot, because if they use the left-hand slot habitually, the day when they need to tilt the table for an angled cut, they will learn that the blade will take the corner off the miter gauge when used in the left slot. Additionally, there’s more table to the right of the blade to support your stock. But all that said, there’s nothing wrong with your approach and I’m just being “That guy”. It’s just a good habit to build, IMHO. Scott
